Free Dining Fall 2015? (and a whole lot more)

Just did all of my ADRs at 6:00 this morning, very relieved that I got Be Our Guest dinner and Crystal Palace early entry ressies. I booked our trip last year not caring if I got free dining or not, so it would just be icing on the cake...but come on Disney, we can't take much more of this! Just announce it already LOL I highly doubt my dates will be included (Oct. 16-26) but I'm being optimistic! If not, I can at least be happy for everyone else who will benefit from it!

Waiting patiently too. Or trying to be patient. We are going no matter what. I have it budgeted to save enough from our paycheck to cover the whole trip including dinning. But as a family of 6 it sure is going to be helpful if we do get FD. We have a two week beach trip coming up and that would be more spending money there if I know I don't have to still save so much money for the Disney trip to cover dining.

Considering the Chef's Table at V&A with a wine pairing is going to cost us nearly $750 for two, free dining would be nice to save money on all the other days of dining lol.

Yes and don't worry! It did the same exact thing to me last month when I tried. The next day when it was supposed to work it worked just fine.

We'll be there at the same time. I've been skeptical about FD for our dates too, but a girl can dream!

I've always had luck just booking online. When BOG first opened we were on the phone to get the reservation simply because the website practically crashed with all the traffic but now, I find it much easier to just book online. The added benefit is that you don't have to listen to that outdated Disney music blasting in your ear while you're on hold. Good luck!

Ty going probably 27 october to 4 november for my son 8 years old birthday (was hoping for the week before..but really want to get FD I think I will have more chance from 27 ) really want to try BOG for diner, did it in september 2013 for lunch..hopping to get crystal palace before park open and T-REX probably on my son birthday

Does it matter that only 5 ADR's are showing up under my husband's name while everybody else in our party has all 8 and when I look at each ADR it lists 6 adults and 2 kids?

that happens to us in 2013.. had no problem at all the only thing was that it was not on the app of my mother in law

Thanks. I figured as long as we showed up with the right number of people it would be fine. I control the reservations so as long as I can see them.

I'm suppose to be on the list to receive promotion from disney and hopefully PIN but I never received anything not even a email about the actual promotion I think my chance to get a PIN is about 0% lol DO somebody know if PIN are only for US ? i'M from canada

I just did a quick glance through Black's posts from last year, and by early April he had confirmed that Free Dining was indeed happening. Around this time last year he indicated April 21 or May 1 possible release dates. Rumors are definitely quiet this year compared to last year.

Ok. A few quick questions. I've scanned this thread, but didn't read all 87 pages (wow, you guys are good)! So, I booked a room only reservation for POFQ in October through Hotels.com. IF they offer free dining during that time can I add a package through Disney or will I have to cancel my hotel.com reservation and re-book a package through Disney? If I have to cancel, what happens to my ADRs that I've already made and linked to my account? TIA!

you will have to cancel because you need a package to get FD. you will not loose adr

POFQ as been black out anyway for FD so will probably will not get the FD at POFQ

The Disney Visa cardholder free dining was offered May 2nd last year (Friday) and expired Aug. 8th. Free dining for the general public was offered May 7 with the same expiration date. So Maybe May 1st for Disney Visa cardholders. Just playing the waiting game.

I called to ask about any pins that may have been in our name but there weren't any. I asked about the chances of POFQ being in the free dining. She said it depends on what is going on and has seen both POR and POFQ excluded but usually one is offered if the other isn't. I would love POFQ to be included this year.
