Free Dining Extension ~ Oct-Dec

Yes, I believe that was true, but with the new system (may be able to still do on old site) you can not per Disney; I asked when I had CM on phone. I have the PIN and there is no web address, it states specifically to call Disney (gave # just for PIN's) or your TA. :upsidedow

Edit: Seems like they would want to keep things simpler; sometimes question their computer changes...haha

I had a feeling there might not have been a web address provided for newer PINs. That's disappointing. My PIN mailing (room/package discount for summer dates) from April still had a URL.

If you still have the active PIN, try out http://disneyworld.com/explore and see if works to try out PIN availability online. :goodvibes

Wow! Hey that worked!!! Thanks!!!!! Why did they not just keep it this way:confused3

On the downside, not finding a lot of availability on line for 12/4 - 12/9; AKL standard is only place. Still recommend calling to just be sure.

Those are our exact contingency dates if FD is released. I booked POFQ Garden View (Standard View wasn't available) and hopefully I'll be able to apply the public discount when/if it's released.

Maybe try booking a regular reservation if there are more options without the PIN and then calling to apply it? I don't know if that might be a way to get around the system.

Not sure what this means, maybe the expert(s), out there can shed some hopeful light on this, but I tested a week in each month of the PIN and it showed no Value availability and the only Moderate available was POR (or Wilderness Cabins). For Deluxe it was showing me AKL and Saratoga Springs.:confused3

Is this good sign/bad sign for GP offer???? Either way, it seems the PINS are slowing down; maybe getting ready for the next GP offer?? Free Dining???

:offtopic: Can anybody tell me why highlighted and underlined words started appearing in random posts/messages, ect??

FYI: NO, I have not been drinking.:rotfl2:

Then maybe you should start? :lmao::rotfl2:

Maybe I should, because now they are gone. "PIN codes" was highlighted and when I clicked on it, took me to a survey. "Select dates" was highlighted and a video popped up, and there were others, but now they are gone:confused3

OK, is somebody messing with me??:rotfl:

To the OP or anyone else that may have the answer does anyone know why Disney increased the cost of the dining plan for all new reservations made for 2013? I don't think they have ever increased their dining plan price mid year for the same year. Just saw this on Mousesavers

Thanks! I just went over and checked that out. I don't recall that happening either. Looks like this was announced yesterday. The good news is, it looks like it does not apply to the current vacation pkg promo and if you are upgrading dining in the Sept free dining promo.
Hmmm...it gets me thinking...

It increased for this year???? I am starting to get really upset. If free dining is not offered and a room only is, until I pay price difference for tickets and dining it will be no discount at all. I am beginning to really hate Disney planning. First year I have ever felt that way. :(

Where do you see it at? I am not seeing it.

Ticket prices increased. So if you make any changes to your reservation you have to pay the new ticket price.

As of 6/19/13, it appears the additional cost of adding the Quick Service Dining Plan, regular Dining Plan or Deluxe Dining Plan has gone up for all newly booked, full-price packages for the rest of 2013. At this time it does not appear the price of adding dining plans has gone up if you are booking the Late Summer Vacation Package Offer or upgrading dining in the FREE Dining Package.

I am assuming that the free dining package that she is referring to is the general public one for September

From Mousesavers: As of 6/19/13, it appears the additional cost (on top of a regular Magic Your Way package) has gone up for all newly booked, full-price packages for the rest of 2013: new add-on cost is $58.66 per night per adult or junior (ages 10-17), $18.88 per night for children (ages 3-9).

This is interesting, I wonder if they're subsidizing us free diners to those paying during other parts of the year? :confused3

Note: That was a joke....I hope.
