Free Dining dates changing again!!!!!!!

OK I am confused. They have changed the free dining dates to 9/2-9-10 & 9/16-9/22. What does this mean? My dates are 9/8-9/18. Do I lose FD on the 11th-15? Yikes!!!!!!!! Does this mean it is going to be super crowded 11-15 so they took the promotion away? Freaking out here....need some answers!!!!!

It just means that the other dates are NOW sold out and the only dates that are still open are the ones they listed. They did this last year too. As the dates fill, the window starts to close a little each week. Last year after the promotion ended, it reopenned again with different dates again. So this is an ever change event. If you've secured your dates you are good.

Also, even if you check in on the very last day of free dining, you get it for the entire length of your trip. So as long as your check-in day falls within the original dates, you're good.

Just an update, I punched in a few of the dates on the website like Aug. 26th through September 1 and sure enough there is still lots of free dining available. Maybe not at the value resorts, but at mods and delux. Not sure why they are posting certain dates when all is still open, unless those are the dates that have more availability that other times. of course I would love to see them add more weeks in August, since we are going Aug. 15-24 and missed the free ddp completely this year -- this is the first time I'll miss it since we were there in Sep. 05 and Aug. 06 and got the free ddp both times. I had the worse timing this year, I hope I get better at choosing my vacations dates in 2008. I was even offered the 40% off and all of my already planned trips were not part of the dates offered, but were not during holidays. My vacation mojo is broken I think.

Ok.. I just ran my dates 9/8 - 9/15
Got every resort with exception to some room categories and Pop, ASmo, and ASmu

On the main site, the official add states:
This vacation package includes:
Disney Value Resort Stay – Standard room at a select Disney Value Resort most nights Sept 2-10 and 16-22, 2007.

Looks like they really booked those value rooms. Would make sense though, as several guests are recieving email codes for free upgrades from the values to DVC during early free dinning dates. Fingers crossed here that we'll recieve one as well.

Good to know! We're going Sept 12th - 17th, it was booked probably a month and a half ago and all the value rooms were gone.
