FREE Dining Dates CHANGE... OMG

Anyway, i just noticed that the dates are changed for the FREE dining.
My trip is schedule for Nov 13-18th. The FREE dining is for 11-17th. Will i still have free dining for the 18th even though it NOW ends the 17th?

If leaving on the 18th, then your 17th credits will be good on the 18th until 12 midnight I believe.

Your credits will be good until 11:59 pm on the 18th or until you run out. Whichever comes first.

All that matters is your check n date. You could arrive the last day and still get it for your entire stay up to 14 nights. Also, if youve already books and your check in date no longer falls in the range they'll still honor your reservatiOn.

I ran down to speak to my AAA travel agent (we love you paula) first thing this morning because with the new dates our arrival would not cover free dining. But paula told me that as long as we already have a reservation in place w/ a confirmation number it would be honored. Thank goodness. I just wonder why the change?

That's what I thought too. If not, my TA is going to hate me, since she just switched our package yesterday (again!)

As PP said as long as your check in date is by the last date of free DDP you will get it. We are checking in on 10/8 for 10 nights and will be getting free QSDP for all 10 nights. The last day for free DDP during early Oct. is Oct. 8th.

Also, if you have already booked with free DDP they wouldn't change it anyway.

I think they might be adjusting the days as free dining packages "fill up." When originally planning, FD was 10/1-10/8; figured fine, we'd go to WDW late on Friday 10/7, stay at the airport in a priceline hotel, and check in for FD early on 10/8. When I went to make the ressie for 10/8 check in, the online booking program showed all resorts, all levels w/free dining sold out. YIKES!! When I checked room only, there was ample availability. I decided to let a TA handle the ressie and contacted DU, for check in on 10/7. They made the ressie and put a 48 hour courtesy hold on it, so I could transfer rewards money to my Disney VISA rewards card (knocked $700 off the price!). Good thing, because the NEXT day the free dining end date was 10/6! That wouldn't have worked AT ALL as we all have to work here in Maine on 10/7. I checked online and there was plenty of room-only for 10/7, but no free dining. However, I had the courtesy hold on my ressie so I BOOKED IT!!

As they say, the number of rooms available for this special deal is limited!

I switched my reservations 3 times with my TA. First, I had free dining then I changed dates and went with the room discount from a pin code. Thenk I saw availability at POFQ where I really wanted to stay so I had her change dates again to get the resort and free dining. I'm sure I was driving her nuts!
