I am on hold right now, attempting to secure free dining promo. Here's the deal....I already purchased some of my tickets. I know that I have to purchase tickets to get the free dining. Is there a place I can sell three unused 7 day tickets to try to recoup some of the money I spent????? With the reservation we had, I could keep the tickets for another trip and still end up spending the same amount of money as without free dining. TIA

If you have linked the hard, plastic tickets to your MDE account, the ticket entitlements are now linked to your MDE.

If you sell the hard, plastic tickets, the buyer will then own plastic tickets that are permanently linked to your MDE and provide the link to whatever entitlements are in your MDE account.

If you haven't linked the plastic tickets, you can easily sell them with the entitlements.

Can I save them for a future trip? Problem is, they are attached to our names and our daughter may not always go with us???

The only way to transfer to another person is to link MDE accounts and then reassign the entitlements to the new person.

They would need a MB to access their entitlements as the plastic ticket is yours and serves no purpose to them.

Yes, you can save them for a future trip. I'm not sure if they have an expiration date (depends on when you purchased them).

You can always reassign ticket entitlements to whomever you choose. They'll just need a MB to access the entitlements.

I recently purchased them. This is going to make me crazy. I dont like that everything is linked. technology UGH

Ssh, I'm on vacation ;)

As far as I know, it's only the new tiered one day tickets that have a set expiration date if unused. (And some discounted/promo tickets, but that's not new.) I can't fact check that until Saturday though.

Thanks so much! Enjoy your vacation and your reply was very helpful!!

If you have already matched them to someone on your MDE, I would not try to sell them as the buyer may have issues. I had a 5 day ticket that I linked to myself on MDE; I then bought an AP (full price online), unmatched my ticket and matched it to my sister-in-law. We went last week and when she went to use the ticket, we were told it was linked to me as my AP. Thankfully, I had brought my receipts for both the ticket and the AP but we spent an HOUR at city hall getting the issue resolved. Missed 2 fast passes (we're only given 1 replacement) and lost precious touring time on our already shortened arrival day. It was not a magical start to our vacation!

Yes, you can save the tickets for another trip. As long as they are unused, you can transfer them to someone else in your MDE account. Once used, they are permanently linked to the person who used the ticket and that ticket will expire 14 days after first use. Unused, multi-day tickets do not have an expiration date.

I do not have plastic tickets only a number to link them. I have not linked them yet as I have a trip coming up with APs and I do not want to risk activating the other tickets that are for my December trip. I was thinking of selling them to my sister who is going with us. Since I have not linked them yet would I just link them to her account?

So, the person who you transfer the ticket to could not use the plastic ticket to enter the gate?
I thoughts tickets were fully transferable in MDE until used.(Except for party tickets.)

Correct. Learned this the hard way. You can transfer unused tickets on your MDE account, but the plastic tickets do not transfer to the new person. You have to stop a guest services and have a new plastic ticket produced for the ticket and link it to its new owner.

Entitlements can be transferred. Just not the plastic as that is equivalent to a MB and remains where it was originally linked.
