Hello Everyone,
Hoping for some advice from the saavy Diser's. My DH, myself, DS (10) and DD (7) are booked June 1-8 at POR with the free dining bounceback offer with park hoppers. We have been thinking of having my in-laws come with us for either June 1-3(or 4) with base tickets.

Few questions....

1)Would we be able to add them to our bounceback free dining offer?
2)What would work out better, ASMu suites or two rooms at either POP or POR?

Thanks so much for everyone's help.

If you have to add a second room, no. That'd be a new reservation.

If you upgrade to one to that fits all of you, you could add them. So a family suite or villa.

And if you are able to add them to your room they would have to get the same type of tickets.

Thanks aaarcher86, would we be able to book the inlaws for only 3 nights and us for 7 and still get the BB? Could we move to another room or stay in the suite with the same BB offer?

You'd have to stay in the same room. Any room change would be considered a new reservation.

On the package, everyone has to have the same thing. You'll run into issues any way you slice it with people only staying for a portion.

Basically, you could all drop down to the minimum amount of tickets on the package so they wouldn't have to get a larger number, but you can only FP for your ticket days. You wouldn't be able to choose more FP until you upgrade them after check in for the people who need more days.

You could add them after you check in only for the days needed but then they can only schedule FP 30 days out because they aren't on the reservation.

That is what I was afraid of. Guess I need to see if we can switch to another moderate or value if they have availability and book them separate.

One advantage that we have done with free dining is that even though everyone has to have the same number of days on their tickets, the days get really cheap after day 3 or 4, and you DO get all those dining credits for everyone for the whole time even if they are only there part of the time. We did this last year - DGD and I were there for 10 days, and DH only for 5. So the 2 of us had 5 days worth of dining credits extra. We used them to go to signature dining. The difference between a 5 day ticket and a 10 day ticket was a lot less than those dining experiences!! And yes, Disney knew DH was only there for 5 days.

We ended up booking the inlaws at POR in a king bed room, with dining and PH tickets for 3 nights. No rooms left at spring offer price but did not want to lose the room.
