Free dining availability?

Does anyone know if there is free dining availability through travel agents/expedia etc for the beginning of free dining period (august 16th week)? I have looked on the WDW site but nothing seems to be available. Thanks for any help.

The only thing I had come available for a family of four (2 adults, 1 junior & 1 child) from Aug. 16 - Aug. 22 was the beach club resort for $3200.

It didn't give me any other options to try and book.

I got the same thing. That would be lovely but it's not in my budget right now! I will try to call the reservation center when the kids go to bed!

Your best chance is for a cancellation to occur someplace. You almost have to call everyday and hope it works out. You may have to even consider a split stay to make it work out somehow. With that scenario you'll probably pay a little more for park tickets.

When deals become available there are a certain amount of rooms allocated for it at each resort. When the limit is reached that's it for that resort. It's like first come, first serve. In this particular deal Disney extended the offer and therefore opened up even more rooms for the deal. Evidently that limit has been reached as well, now.

If you have a good AAA agent they may continue to look for you and see if they can come up with something for you. I'm not sure about Expedia.

Travelocity had $69 plus change a nt. @ Pop during that week yesterday. But no free dining.

You cant get free dining through the travel agent rate or expedia/travelocity. Call Disney but the beginning of free dine usually books up quick and I believe its been available for like 3 months now
