We are thinking of taking advantage of the Free Dining and staying at Saratoga Springs.....However we already have tickets from 2 previous trips....are the tickets in our name or can we pass them to family. I'm not sure if we're allowed to do it.

Thank you

I'm not sure as they're offering 14 days for the price of 7.

The ones that I already have I have already started to use and are non expiry.

I was referring to the tickets you already have, do they have any personal details on them?

ETA: actually, won't your fingerprints be assigned to them?

???....so the new ones we get (14 days for the price of 7) we can't give to someone. We'd like to keep the ones that we've already used for ourselves.

If you want to purchase tickets in order to get free dining, the dining credits will be assigned to your KTTW cards. You won't get physical tickets. If you're all travelling together then it's not a problem (albeit somewhat unorthodox).

ETA: anyway, they ask for ID at check-in to make sure the named person on the card is the one using it- I'm not sure you'd "get away" with giving it to another member in your party

Thank you again for your advise..

That's made me have a thought, last year with free dining we booked via the US Site, we did have our tickets and dining linked to our room key. At the end of the trip we requested to opted to transfer the tickets to paper tickets from the key eventhough we were advised any remaining days would remain on the key card??

We're going to be at SSR in September with free dining and tickets and we also have days left on non expiring tickets from a previous trip. I'm going to ask at check in if they'll give us the new tickets as paper tickets and not put them on the room key. I don't see why this would be a problem, surely I can use them when I want? As long as they're unused, I also don't see why they can't be given or sold to someone else.

Good Luck....hope it works...let us know..

We managed to change our tickets at guest services in Downtown Disney.

Totally unused tickets are transferable. The person who is going to use the ticket should write his name on it. The person using the ticket has to meet the qualifications such as Florida residency although as of today a non-U.K. resident can use a 14 day ultimate ticket sold only in the U.K.

To reduce confusion, the ticket portion of your package can be transferred off of the room key onto a different (but same sized) card. If the person serving you at the check in desk cannot do it, one of the higher ups behind the scenes should be able to do it.
