Free Dining and Gift Card offer

Please bear with me, we've been to Wdw several times now but this is the first time that we've booked it ourselves and are going without family so it's all a bit daunting. I read in a thread earlier that Free Dining looks as though it's going ahead at the end go the month. I've also read (somewhere) that there is often an offer for a $200 gift card as well. Does anyone know anything about this and when it is likely to come out? Just wondering when would be best to book.

Hi! It is believed that it will launch April 24th. The last couple of years if you book on their first launch you get a $200 gift card, second launch $100. But with the second launch last year (i booked first launch) the hotel price changed slightly. So both were basically the same deal.

When I booked in October 2011 for September 2012 we got a $150 gift card. I seem to recall that there was an offer on a few years ago where the value of the gift card varied according to the level of resort you stayed at.

Thank you all very much-this isn't a deal breaker but we thought the gift card could be our daughters spending money

When I booked in October 2011 for September 2012 we got a $150 gift card. I seem to recall that there was an offer on a few years ago where the value of the gift card varied according to the level of resort you stayed at.

We booked one year where the deluxe resorts got a $700 gift card each room.
