Free Dining and AAA

I am asking this for a friend...If she has booked a package thru her AAA travel agent, can she call and get the free dining herself or does the TA have to call? She is going in Sept. for 6 nights, staying at the Poly with dining. She would like to get the free dining, but is afraid that if she waits for the TA to call when they open at 9am on Thurs. that the poly will be sold out for this package. Any ideas?

She has to have the agent do it, unless she cancels the package with them and books a new one through Disney herself.

The agent has to call since AAA officially "owns" the reservation until check-in. Any and all changes have to go through AAA, unless, like a pp stated, she was to cancel through AAA and re-book herself through Disney. Hope this helps
