Free dining and 180 + 10 question

So free dining may or may not come out in April/May and as we all know, dining reservations start 180 plus 10 out from your arrival date. I am going in August and need to book in February, how do I go about this if I am not booked under the free dining yet?

You can make an ADR one at a time on day 180 or you can go ahead and book a reservation now so that you can make the 180+10 ADRs. It is the only way I know of to do it.

I don't have resort reservations, yet, because I'm waiting to see what discounts may be offered for our trip dates. I've made an ADR a day through MDE. They are tied to your account, not whether you have a package, room, or tickets.

All this. And to add to the highlighted - if you want to book any pre-paids at 180+10 days with a cc guarantee only, you will need the DDP attached to the reservation. Otherwise, you will be forced to pay OOP.
