Free dining 2015?

I just booked the week in November for family and it had very little left. There was the monorail resorts, the most expensive rooms of course, and Pop and Animation left. Everything else was gone.

Appears that the "rumored" start date of 8/15 was incorrect. The website will only allow you to book free dining starting on 8/28.

We tried for November 8th and the only thing left is Deluxe Resorts. VERY disappointed.

Just on the phone booking POR. Reserving Preferred Room as Standard has no availability eventhough still showing rooms if booked using Summer code?

Here's the funny thing about FREE dining. Do you know how much that word Free will cost you? I booked 8 nights in Oct at POR with 7 days park tickets. The total cost is 3000 without any discounts or free dining. A friend of mine just booked the same week but went with Free Dining. Apparently now to get Free Dining you have to get the Park Hopper add-on. Also, for that same week the only moderate resort room left available for Free Dining is the pirate room at CBR. So now with those additional costs his FREE dining is costing him 3900. 1000 more than what I am paying for the same exact week at a moderate resort. And the worst part is he doesn't want to stay at CBR. He wants to stay at POR. But people get this word Free in their heads and don't realize how much more they have to spend to get something for Free. Meanwhile, I'll only spend 600 on dining in the parks that week so I'll spend 300 dollars less than someone getting Free dining. Make sure you run some calculations before you just jump for Free Dinning.

We switched ours over, CBR was offering Pirate rooms only, a little frustrating but still saved money.

I was able to get dates in September for CBR standard rooms by going online. Is the problem because of the dates your wanting to go? Because yourthe second person I've seen on here saying they can only get pirate rooms

And the weird thing is I was able to save $1000 by switching from Pop with table service dining plan to CBR with tabel service included.

Well, I have now been on hold for 1 hour, 55 mins (for the 2nd time today). Keeping my fingers crossed!!! I need pixie dust!!!!!!

After over 2 hours on hold I now have FREE DINING for our Halloween visit!!! I am overjoyed and exhausted...hahahahaha!!! Pixie dust all around!!!

POR??? The CM I spoke to told me that Port Orleans Riverside and Port Orleans French Quarter were not included in the "free dining" promotion....hmmm.

There is a separate free dining offer for Canadians - the first day it becomes available is August 15/15
Same dates, Resorts & blackouts.

I think we were able to get it at PoR for aug 16-26 because we took the king room with pull down bed. We are 2 adults and 1 child so we didnt need a 2 queen room
