No, we were origionally booked at CBR but will be traveling now with my mom and friends of my daughters so we needed the extra room. POR would have been cheaper for us but he said it was not part of the promotion so we went with 2 rooms at POP.

Do you mind telling us who your CM was? I have had it happen where some say no and 1 or 2 agents know how to do it first thing in the morning.

You were going to switch from CBR to POR, but had to take Pop? I would've stayed at CBR, it ends up cheaper for my family of 4

I just modified to visa free dining. Had to go from CBR to POP since POR was not part of the promotion. We are in a standard room and upgraded our tix. I confirmed twice he was modifying me to free dining. I could here a lady in the back ground telling people not today, so I kept asking. The numbers he gave me are correct. Waiting on my email.

So wait, does this mean that you now have the QS dining plan, or did you have to pay to upgrade? I don't get it

I am really hoping POR is not excluded, that kind of limits the amount of rooms that will be available in mods...that's where I was hoping to book if POFQ is really excluded.

Still on the phone. The CM is very nice and checking for any pin codes for me. However, she says there will be a "broad release" (her phrase) of free dining on May 7th. Hmmm. I've never heard of a CM giving a date like that before. She's very nice though…..

At the end I asked again if she could double check again for Visa holders and she told me "nothing today but call back tomorrow." Here we go again tomorrow.

Waited about 20 minutes, got a cranky CM who said, "NO, there is NO free dining. People are hearing this from the disboards, but you know what? People on there can post whatever they want and it doesn't make it true. You have to see it on DISNEY. WORLD. DOT. COM for it to be true." Ok, lady.

I was overly polite to her in return. I hope she has a better morning.

She also said she never knows about any upcoming offers in advance, and that the minute she finds out about them is when she sits down at her computer the day of release, at the exact same time it is released to the public.

I just want to comment on the fact that every CM we spoke to this morning ( we made four calls between us) was extremely cheerful and light hearted.
None were cranky, even though they were being flooded with calls for a promo that hasn't come out.

So hats off to the CMs for being so nice!!! (even though they are all probably laughing their butts off at us!!!)

I will admit I don't know wdwmax and haven't been on the boards for a while.... do to my Disney obsession and my wife saying no for a year something about having a kid got in the way.... but the post where very cryptic...maybe wdwmax was given bad information or being very lucky hey I hope for the later.

That's probably what happened. CMs are humans and make mistakes. But I'm getting very upset that others here, (not you of course) are insinuating that wdwmaw is making it up.

Excited for you that you were able to get it but bummed that POR isn't included, with a family of 5 it is our best option.
