Thank you!
So he could still order off of the kids menu if he would like? How do I address his age? Change it in the computer or request he receive adult tickets/food?
:yay:

Is the total price difference only like $20? Seems like a great deal

Yes, the total price difference is only $21 with FD. You are only paying for the upgrade on the ticket.
They won't question it. Just tell them that you would like your child to be shown as an adult so they can order off of the adult menu. He can order off the adult or kids menu if he wants :)
I have a grandson that is going with us this year and he is only 6 but he eats like an adult so I will be asking him to be shown as an adult. His 10 year old brother is totally opposite and will probably rather eat off the kids menu but I am not taking the chance. $21 is definitely worth it

We recently booked two rooms at Sports. The CM asked us if we wanted adjoining rooms. I was surprised to hear that because in the past we've always had to request it.

Adjoining means next to each other but no interior door between the 2, connecting has the door that will open into each room (connecting the 2 rooms together). If you are wanting the connecting door, I would simply call and ask them to add it to your reservation. I am surprised that in the online reservations it asks you if you want "nearby room or connecting door" but the CM used the word adjoining:confused3 but maybe their reservation system doesn't mirror what we see. I would just call to be sure they have you with what you are really wanting:thumbsup2

The leaked date was always August 1. But so many banked on the fact that visa had to go first, I think a few took it to mean it wasn't happening at all and the backlash started. It really was only three or four people, but they were very vocal.

Haha yes...yes they were!

Agreed, it sounds like the best $21 I could spend - just for the options. Thanks for all your knowledge! :cool1:

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but are these official?

They are directly from Disney, but subject to change. Typically they will extend some hours as November draws closer and they get a feel for crowd levels. The night where MK closes at 7pm will likely not change. They will be for MVMCP.

Thank you so much! Let the planning begin!!! :woohoo:

You don't suppose Disney would unleash a FD promo on a weekend, would they?

No, but hopefully someone may post if they can find out the details if Disney does plan to release this Monday for either general public or Visa offers.

I just received something from disney destinations that's a 3 letter code... What is it?

Unfortunately, its probably marketing material.

That's what I was guessing. I haven't received anything in a while from disney destinations so I got excited lol

Oh and I would too!
I haven't received anything in over 3 years. :(

i was just wondering this exact thing! From what I've read on here it seems to always be on a Monday or Thursday. Correct me if I am wrong though :)

That's been the trend for many years now. :thumbsup2

So if the Visa holders get a jump on FD if it's released this Monday (if it follows the trend), it will be at 7am, correct? If it's released to the public right off the bat it will be at midnight online and 7am on phones, correct? :confused3

Last time I had free dining in 2005 it just happened to be on the dates we are going. Now knowing the beauty of FD, I am anxious...
