Free Dining 2014 Discussion ~ Part 3

You got the reg dining plan right? That means you have table service meals for the adults and table service for the children (even if over 10) and then quick service meals are combined there arent adult or child. Once the 'child' is over 18 its an adult but listed as a child on a ressie even if u have to pay disney adult prices over 10

Yep, reg dining plan.

I figured I was reading too much into it. I can be like that sometimes. I just wanted to make sure they were going to be able to order off the adult menu.

I only know that because my daughter was listed as a child last year and she was 14 and I called

My email confirmation doesn't say that though. Maybe I'm making something outta nothing, I don't know.

Had this on my free DDP on MDE last year and we had NO CHILDREN on our reservation at all!

So weird! Mine isn't specific at ALL! We did upgrade from QS also. Oh well!?

Already got a plan on that adult dining plan for my non-adult.....if she sees nothing on the adult menu she wants then I'll just pay cash for the kid meal myself and save the table/quick serve credit. Maybe we'll have enough saved by the end of the week to do a signature dining experience--ha!

I had our room at CBR in my cart, MM added, flight info entered, designated those traveling in the group, typed in my CC number and got pulled away from the laptop before I could process the payment. I came back and it said my room wasn't available, and now the only rooms at CBR are the pirate rooms... I'm taking my 2 daughters! What?! So the numbers I've tried keep telling me the circuits are busy, and one that I tried the lady was extremely unpleasant and told me to call 407-w-disney, which I can't get through to! Any suggestions on another number to try?

Quick question-for those who were able to book and who have kids under 10-did your email say anything about child dining plan? My *email* just says "Disney Regular Dining Plan" but *mde* breaks it down into "2014 Table service meals-Adult" and "2014 table service meals-child". My kids are listed as 10 and 14, so they should technically be "adults" by Disney standards. Just curious why it's worded this way. (yes, I know it could be a glitch. )

I asked about this also. CM told me anyone 17 and under will be listed as child.

We're officially going 11/10-11/15, staying at POP. Got the free dining, my husband decided to upgrade to the regular dining plan and he also wanted the Memory Maker Now patiently waiting until next week when we can start figuring out the ADR's

Chances are you are out of luck - for now.

It's possible. If you really want CBR then I would take it while it's there.

I had a standard room reservation for the CSR and because there was no more of this room type available for the FD this morning, I had to switch to a king size bedroom...
