We have a royal room at POR and *really* want to stay there. I'm holding onto that (we have a 30% BB offer already). We usually stay at Pop and know we'd save quite a bit by switching and getting FD, but I'm going to hold strong and see what happens.

As others have said, no, it is fine. We are all hearing the static. I think it's the sound of Pixie Dust coming across the line

Funny story about that static... Last year when this promo came out on 8/1, I was WAY up north in michigan on vacation, with terrible reception. The only place you could make calls was outside, standing up on something high. Long story short , I spent TWO HOURS on hold, outside in drizzle, standing on top one narrow beam of a boat trailer, freaking out that I was going to lose my connection and afraid to sit down because I kept hearing static. Turns out it was just pixie dust ;-)

Oh well, at least I'm under my favorite blanket with a cup of coffee this year.

The CM last call of last night said to keep watching they might add POR later, you never know. It gives me hope. I might take that pirate ship from CBR to POR if that happens.

Still on hold... 43 minutes and counting... I tried just saying "agent agent agent" for the prompts but at one point it made me choose something and then my phone was cracking up so I think it had trouble understanding me. Ugh. I really need to leave for work in 15 minutes and once my train goes underground I'll lose the call. Think I'll leave my cell phone home with my wife if it comes to that - I'll go one day w/o my phone for Free Dining!
