Am I the only one who hasn't been able to concentrate at work all day because of following this thread ? Can't wait for GP release on Wednesday....

It's bad when you have to take a bus to get to the food court. Hahahahaha! But seriously, we will never stay there again. It's one thing if you rent a car, but we don't and uh uh we won't do it again. Don't get me wrong, it's beautiful that's not in dispute, but not to my liking, and we have our own pool, so we typically don't use pools when we're on vacation.

Have you stayed at POR? Same thing, theres a bus that just goes around the resort. I run every day, so not out of shape, and I can tell you the walk to the foodcourt was horrific after a day in the park. Plus, it was like a maze we kept getting lost:rotfl: I figure it cant be much worse, only prettier and the pool and beaches look nice.

I am hoping to get free dining this year, we NEVER EVER get any discounts and my husband says we have to save money on this trip so I am praying for the FD this time. I have a Disney visa and of course, no email, no pin code, no nothing! Uggggg!!! Any encouragement or words of wisdom would be appreciated! Should I call Disney Visa?

No. Just call Disney in the morning when the offer goes live.

I know. It's inaccurate. Just like he minimum length of stay Chase is tossing out and the statement that only certain card holders can use it.

Not trying to be rude or anything, just curious, how do you know this is inaccurate? The original poster of the POR/FQ said she had a copy of the offer sent to her. I have yet to see anything official that it is excluded. :goodvibes

We are the same way! This would be our first as well. Super nervous about it! I would just relax and call first thing in the morning. That is what I am doing. It's hard to not call when people keep posting that they are getting it now but I don't want to have conflict with a CM or make them feel they need to do something they shouldn't yet. I'd rather wait until tomorrow when it's official :goodvibes Good luck to us both!

Several people have SEEN the actual offer. Chase doesn't book the offers and has already given numerous amounts of bad info - number of minimum nights and tickets, exclusions, only some people get the offer, etc.

You definitely don't have to be believe me. If you'd rather hear it from Joe I'm sure he'd confirm. The original post in this thread has been updated to exclude POR/POFQ.

We have a 15 and 9 year old.....CBR is the only resort that we HATE thus far. Too many stops and the resort is too big! If you want my opinion, WL all the way.

That's why it's so tough to give a recommendation to someone else, everyone's tastes are so different. We had no problem at all with CBR buses. I think they have like six stops, but we never made all of them, and they are so close together it wouldn't matter anyway. As far as size goes, we didn't feel we walked any further there than anywhere else, and we definitely walked further at POR and Pop than at CBR. We were in Martinique though. I'd only book preferred there. ;)

We hate the Boardwalk area buses, but it doesn't stop us from staying there. They pull in and out of so many different resorts, it feels like you're on a school bus lol. Pop only has one stop, which is nice, but we always had to wait for two or three buses to come before we could fit on one, and almost every single bus was standing room only. POR and CSR both have a bunch of stops too.

AKL has been our best experience as far as buses are concerned. WL has the boat, which is a nice change of pace, but DD doesn't like the pool or the theme.

ETA: The only negative, in my book, for CBR is those darn double beds. Once they are upgraded to queens it will shoot that resort up into my top three.

I have a party of 6 going, anyone know if this promo is good for two rooms in a moderate or will I only be able to use the promo on one room and the others are shot out of luck?

We have a party of 10. It's my understanding that the cardholder can reserve up to 3 rooms as long the other members of the party are linked with the cardholders account on MDE. Correct me if I am wrong about this, but this is why I spent last night creating an account for myself and another adult in our party and linked them to my DH's MDE account since he is the cardholder so hopefully we can book 3 mod rooms tomorrow. BTW if this is right then you will probably have to put $200 deposit down on all rooms
