Deluxe and moderates get the plan with one table service meal, one counter service, and one snack per night. It will be on the special offers page. But you can't change an existing reservation online, just make a new one. To change a current reservation, you have to call.

Thanks so much

This may be off topic somewhat, but someone a while back(sorry I can't be more specific; this thing has moved too fast) posted a link to the thread where people post their ADR's, and when they are going to cancel so that others can grab them. I thought I had subscribed, but apparently I hadn't. Does anyone know?

There are different ones for each month so I would need to know which month you are looking for our you can just go to the Disney dining boards and scroll through and find the appropriate one. They are usually titled something like September adr cancellation thread

Thank you for the reassurance! I suppose I can only wait and see what's available on Wednesday. I feel I need to consider all possibilities as I'm worried I won't have time to think about it on Wednesday!

I feel the same way. I have researched every possible resort that I would be interested in and I made a list from Most wanted to least wanted. I did this so I wouldnt be thrown off when I was given my options. I figured the more prepared I am the happier I will end up. Good luck! i hope you get what you want! At least you'll be in disney with FD!!!:thumbsup2

Reading all these posts on FD has my head spinning and my stomach churning. I am going through a TA that I love dealing with but I am on a PANIC that I may not get FD. I keep inking " what if?...they don't get through, they can't get me FD In time, they don't contact me if I need to change my resort and I lose FD ALL TOGETHER, I need to go to a deluxe (WL) to get FD instead of a moderate (CBR)?" Yeesh! I am making my self CRAZY:scared1:

How will I make it till Wednesday? Am I just being nuts? Has anyone ever had a TA not come through in the clinch? Must remember to breathe!

HAHA you sound like me! I am going through a TA for the first time and she is awesome and I know she will get it done but it's hard giving up control of my disney trip! So my crazy self priced out any and all resort and views I am interested in (10 in total:lmao:) and put them in order of preference! I emailed my TA with the list and have since revised it! ANNNNNNND I am currently fighting back the urge to revise the list again! My DH thinks I am insane (hes right!). I have already admitted to my TA that I will be spending all day refreshing the disney website to see what resorts are available for my date until I hear from her to gauge where I stand!!! So those are my wednesdays plans:surfweb:!!!!! Refresh Refresh Refresh!:lmao:
I MUST FIGHT THE URGE TO BOOK A BACK UP TRIP ONLINE!!

GOOD LUCK!!!!

Someone tell me that the QS plan is awesome and I don't need to upgrade. It's ~$415 to upgrade to the regular plan for our family from a value (which is still cheaper than booking a mod) and a part of me just wants to be frugal and save the $415 for other things. It will be myself, husband, 16 year old sister, 7 year old son, 3 year old daughter and 15 month old daughter. With the QS plan, we can still keep one or two of our ADRs, but we won't have to be tied down every day which makes it a lot easier to just take it easy and do what we want to do... especially with the younger kids. But then a part of me really thinks I'll miss doing the character meals, etc. AHHH planning a trip is so difficult sometimes! But so fun!
i had budgeted $100 a day for food for our 9 night trip in November. That's not including a couple of table service meals I was going to do. We got free QS dining at POP and I will pay to upgrade to regular dining . That will cost around $700 for my family for 9 nights . $900 - $700 leaves $200 I will not spend for food. It's a no brainer for us. We love the table service meals because we really don't do a lot of eating out at places like you get at Disney. Plus, you gotta eat! Here's to the $65 ribeye at Le Cellier!!!!!!!!!

.........and you lead me to my next obsession - after I book and get FD (God willing), I will be working my list of must do's and maybe won'ts. I figure if I have to pay something this time, I want to get the best bang for my buck. Last time I got free dining, I got 1 TS, 1 CS, 1 Snack while staying in a value :)

The values have been doing QS for a couple of years now. You can upgrade to the DP for $18.65/per person/per night.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this question... if not please direct me to the right location.

We are not booked at CSR in the business class, we booked with the VISA Free Dinning offer. With the savings from the free dinning, we upgraded to the Deluxe Dinning Plan because we have so many table service meals planned, some are two credit meals. We are now trying to figure out if it is worth it to do the deluxe plan or if we should just pay out of pocket for some meals and go with the regular dinning plan. We will be there for five days and already have reservations that will equal twelve table service meals.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi I saw this question posted earlier and may have missed the answer. I need to book 2 rooms when Fd is released. How can I do this online? Do I do two separate bookings and request they are linked or is there somewhere where I can request 2 rooms? thanks

I go to all ears dot net and look at menus. Then i added it up. We were gonna pay about $600 oop for 6-7 meals. Dxdp upgrade was $746 and we got more meals an 2 snacks everyday. To us its worth it. Some of ours are 2credit meals too. I say do the math and if its almost the same i say go for it and try new places/ meals :)

I think u can book 2 online then link them both to your MDE. I would also call after the phones settle down and make sure that they write u are traveling together

I feel like I've considered every hotel there is. This is our planning history so far:

Booked CBR with room discount through Disney UK (missed the free dining offer).
Decided AKL wasn't much more so upgraded.
Decided OKW (our favourite) wasn't much more than that so upgraded again.

Now find out the US site is doing free dine and we can get a mod for what we're paying for OKW but with all our food paid for.
Decide on preference order 1. POR, 2. POFQ, 3. CBR.
Find out POR/FQ are excluded .

Now CBR is no. 1, no.2 is POR with room discount and no.3 is go with what we already have booked.

Of course that will all be up in the air if CSR has standards available or POR/FQ get added to free dine!

Good luck to you too! Hope you get what you want!

Booking Pop 9/26 - 10/4 .. I need to fix my ticker, I planned on just part of the week but my Hubs said lets just go for a whole week so we are not so rushed!!!!! I love my Hubs!!! I can't wait to book on :wave2:Wednesday!!! :cool1:

We were booked at AoA family suites decided we wanted to go back to POR then when the FD exclusion happened I went over every resort except fort wilderness and priced all the room types that would accommodate a family of 5 and found out POR with dining was 300 more than some standard view rooms with free dining at a few deluxes! Well then I was sold! But like you
Said we won't know what we can get until Wednesday!! Why isn't it Wednesday? But who knows POR could come back in the selection and wouldn't that really make things interesting! Especially since I fell in love with a few deluxes while researching my choices!! Oh Wednesday hurry up!!!!

does anyone think i will have a problem getting FD for Wilderness Lodge wednesday, I have it booked so Im just adding it on..
