175 mins later?!? I'm so sorry! So glad you had great savings though.

It was worth the wait.

FD was the key to going this year. If it didn't come out we would have canceled and planned for another time.

I've been to WDW a few times before but I'm really excited about this trip. It's just the 5 of us... no extended family, no I'm with a group thing. I checked the availability of dining locations to set the dates and we're only staying 3 nights. Got into Akershus, CRT, and T-Rex


Did I say I was excited about this trip?!?!?

now I'm off to work to pay for this vacation

Anyone doing a split stay?? Wanting to book POFQ for three nights with dining plan- The day we are doing MNSSHP is going to be a leisurely day and I am thinking about doing AK Lodge with the room discount the last night b/c I wont be able to afford it without discount and what better time to check it out... )) Will I regret doing this?

We are doing the same thing. We are at Pop with free dining four nights and then moving to Poly for the last two nights with the room only because we want to see what it's like. The CM was super helpful with us making the res and told us to arrange with the concierge at Pop for our luggage to be moved.

My POFQ was not available with a King bed for my dates (21-28) so I had to book Coronado Springs.

My husband is the same way. He likes for me to "save" all the details until about a week before we leave

You can check in as early as 6am. Of course you cant check out of the other one until then,too. They can just hold your bags until your room is ready.

Same here - he has put a ban on me talking to him about my plans - specifically dining ones haha!! Told him he better not complain even one time about the plans I was making if he was going to ban talking abut it - and he was fine with that

Yeah, about that...

Only really works if you're going to the parks in the morning and then back to the room. You'd basically have from 3pm on, so is it worth it for that amount of time?

At least mine doesn't try to change things.
He will be happy to go, and he likes free dining, and he enjoys the parks and seeing the kids enjoy stuff.
He just, for some reason...and I know this is hard to believe...doesn't like to do things like talk about dining menus 6 months out or look at pics of a resort 4 moths ahead of time.

Argh!! My TA was on the phone at 7 am and as of 10:30 is still on hold! This is making me crazy! Maybe next time I'll just book everything myself!

All of the husband posts are crackin' me up! My DH loves to talk about our trips. He listens to park music on some phone app he has every evening, and he makes me guess what park/show it is from. He makes fun of me if I get it wrong. I'm a lucky, lucky girl.

Oh yea, that they will. I think she had forgot she wouldn't have a room to go to first thing in the morning. She wanted to swim for the day. I mean I suppose you could change and go to the resort pool while you waited for a room to become available.
