I could seriously just cry. Just noticed that LM rooms aren't included. My girls have their hearts set on staying at AoA. I shouldn't have showed them the pics and told them that's were we are staying. Idk what to do, I don't want to switch hotels, but I don't want to pass up this discount. So bummed. :/

Thank you so much we were wondering about garden grill. We have been to rainforest but at the time my son was 5 and very scared so we will have to see if 5 yrs makes any difference.

No problem. He may also like Coral Reef. It doesn't have characters but it does have huge walls of aquariums. Sometimes there are scuba divers swimming throughout the aquarium waving to the diners.

Garden Grill is our FAVORITE character meal!! I HIGHLY recommend it!

I am the same way! AND it is past my bedtime! Shame on me!

I also agree the night before my wedding I was out cold...lol now I can't sleep!

You could switch to POP. It is just a short walk across the bridge and they could still enjoy the grounds at AoA including the large LM statues. Plus, POP has the best ice cream sundaes. If they like ice cream, use that as a selling point. Best of luck!

Yes, we do! I've been hoping, for YEARS, that Disney would do a hero's character meal. This would make this mom to boys SO happy
My DSs have zero interest in dining with princesses LOL. ((Sigh)). But the princess in me wants to eat in that castle one day!! I'm gonna have to have my fellas take mommy to a princess meal sometime or maybe bring my nieces along sometime and make it a girls only meal

The Little Mermaid rooms are cute, we stayed there with a free dining pin last November/December, but they are not cute enough for me to pay full price and miss out on a huge discount like free dining. And really, the only thing that made it a Little Mermaid room was the shower curtain ;-). All Star Movies and Pop Century have super cute rooms too and you can save a lot of money by switching . . . Just my opinion though.

Also, there are a ton of fun restaurants that aren't character meals too. My kids live Whispering Canyon, Coral Reef, Ohana, Sci-Fi Drive In, 50's Primetime - all great

It's been awhile since I have dined at the castle but when we had breakfast Captain Hook and Peter Pan were there. In the midst of our dining we were completely surprised to see them out on the ledge of the castle in a sword battle! Not sure if they are still active characters there and of course it's never guaranteed but it was a cute show boys would love.

Hey I remember this. I even have a video on my YouTube channel. I don't remember hook, but Peter Pan and Wendy and Alice and white rabbit....it was Kong Stefan's Banquet Hall then.

We're doing:
- 1900 Park Fair dinner (Cinderella et. al) & breakfast (Mary Poppins, Alice, Pooh, or so)

- Chef Mickeys

- Garden Grill

- Ohanas breakfast (Lilo & Stitch)

- Sci-fi Movie drive in thing at HS for lunch

We're also planning on going to BOG for a lunch QS one day at the MK. I don't mind just waiting on line for that one.

Actually, that day the MK has EMH so we planned to go to POR for bineas for breakfast, BOG for lunch & figured we'd try Gaston's for dinner QS... my daughter was like "My, we're having a very French day, aren't we?"
