Magic Bands are getting closer....have a look at this. They are starting to now sell accessories, and lots of them at that.

So are the magic bands going to replace the ticket cards? We went last year and didn't stay on property. We just had cards with our park hoppers on them. How are the magic bands supposed to work?

Wow, are we this close now? Have to admit, I like then as accessories, not sure about using them as tickets etc.

I like every concept of them BUT fp+. I hate that aspect.

I use an app. Sorcerer Radio. Plays music from the parks you hear from the speakers and shows all over the park. We listen at 8pm Central to hear WISHES!

Uh oh, you've just opened up a whole new world for me.

From what I understand, they are for AP holders and resort guests. Not sure if off property guests will use these or not.

I read they will be available for purchase to offsite guests, but don't remember where I read it.

The accessories look fun! Thanks for sharing the link. We'll definitely get suckered into buying personalized sliders for our kids, if the bands are available for our trip. Seem similar in cost to the charms.

I wonder how we could re-use them after the trip... has anyone seen what the backings of the sliders look like? I'm sure someone will come up with something creative to do with them. Maybe decorate lunch bags or something like that.

Kind of depends on who you believe. I follow Dave Shute from **************.net and he believes there will be availability in some capacity sometime between Sept-Nov, but not full fledge use until Jan. 4 or 5. He bases this on statements made by Rasulo and Igor themselves.

Ok...I've had this on my computer since I read your post...your not helping my "way too excited to go to Disney and I still have 127 more days to go" day....I think its made it worse! Lol

you'll have to do a split stay... Current PINs will more than likely become the general offer has the following:

For arrivals most nights 8/25–10/2/13,
10/18–10/31/13, 11/11–11/23/13,
11/30–12/4/13 and 12/15–12/22/13.

That's what I have too and it doesn't work. So I played it through my computer. My DS8 was listening to it on his ipod though....yet another reason I miss my iphone.

Psh. More than one reason? You haven't used the full potential of your S3 then lol. I emailed the maker to see if there will be a fix to the app.....we shall see and then you'll like your phone more no more of this "missing my iPhone" crud haha

I just got it a couple of weeks ago and Its moodier than my iphone was...lol
I'm sure it'll grow on me. The screen is so much better though but really touchy.
But....I hope they fix the problem because I'd love to listen on my phone...all the time lol

I agree with you both.

Would guess the backings are different though, because I don't think those crocs jibbitz would be comfortable on a wrist. But, I could be wrong.
