I know the rumor is that if this pin goes public that the August dates will most likely not be included. Does this also include the end of that range of dates - up until October 2? I know this is all speculation, but since we are arriving on 9/28, it's kind of important to me lol. I just need to know if I have to pin on my hopes on this Pin

I'm no Disney Discount expert (I'm still "Earning my Ears" and have never been to Disney) but my feeling is that you are much more likely to get your dates in the public offer - if they offer it (I hope, I hope).
I think the reason the August dates will be dropped off of the public offer is because it occurs before the current Free Dining public offer. In other words, people are saying that Disney will only offer the new dates that occur after the current public offer. So, late September and early October should certainly fit that description!

That is a tough question, but my guess would be that dates from Sept 23rd- Oct 2nd maybe included. TOTAL GUESS though.

I got a pin code in the MAIL and......
I cannot use it b/c my dates 10/5 to 10/12 are blocked out & I have no flexibility. My husband briefly snickered at me b/c I got excited when I saw the mailer THEN I gave him are really dirty look

The reason we were going to Disney this fall was to use Visa dollars so I was hopeful to save $$ with those AND get free dining.

On the flip side, hubby said, "What about a Disney Cruise to use those dollars?" SOOOOO we started looking at a Disney cruise for Oct 2014 that does fit our schedule & we can use those dollars toward payment for it & it will give us more time to save those dollars. He must have felt bad for me & my disappointment w/ the pin code OR he was sad he couldn't have steak everynight at Disney.

Here's hoping one way or another we will be with the mouse by land or sea in the next year or less.

Sylkie, and any others that have gotten the PIN but were told there was no availability @ POR - I just made my reservation for 9/28-10/05 w/ free dining at POR using the PIN. I had to get garden view or RR, the CM did say there was no standard view available, so I'd suggest calling again & confirming that the CM is looking at all booking categories for you, not just standard. I know it may be a long shot, but worth trying seeing as how inconsistent the CM's are. Hope you all get in one way or another!

I'm right there with y'all. I truly am happy for all those who have gotten pins but I wish there were pins for everybody that wants them. And why in the world are they sending fd pins to the same people multiple times? Makes no sense to me

Tooootally off topic but I have a proud mommy moment I want to share with all of you!
My DD10 got an honor roll certificate & medal for making honor roll last year & this year in all 4 marking periods. She got a senate good citizenship award signed by Senator John Rafferty. She got the presidents education award signed by president Obama. She got the graduating from 4th grade certificate, the bookworm certificate for reading 4000 minutes, safety patrol certificate, AV team certificate, and chorus certificate. But the best honor of all is the Engle Award which is the best academic award given in her school. It goes to the top 3 students in the class. Plus she got a $100 check to use for whatever she wants. And my DS8 got the Super Citizen Award. I'm not sure where my kids got their smarts but ill take it!
