Did I miss something ?? why do say "I feel like the biggest hunk of doggie doo doo ever. I only wanted to report because they are out and coming;"?

I got the free dining PIN again, this time snail mail. Sorry.

One of the sites reported yesterday that they would be out this summer. I think it was Chip & Co.

Funny how they vary. Dave, from **************.net, was saying he wouldn't be surprised if it was later than Oct for release of magic bands.

I am really hoping that the fact that Disney is sending FD pin codes to people who already have reservations (and most already have FD too) will increase the odds of FD being offered for those still waiting to get that discount. I mean, I've gotten 2 emails & 1 snail mail pin code offers so that's 3 FD pin codes sent out that won't be used. I know others here have gotten them & not needed theirs, either so ... thinking positive thoughts for FD for all who are hoping to get it!

Bitirendi, I don't think the pool view would be excluded. Those are on the higher end of RR costs per night, and RR have not as a whole been excluded for discounts. The mailer says "some room exclusions may apply" but doesn't give details. I can't confirm specifics w/o calling w/ the PIN which I can't do yet b/c the other half of my party that has the PIN hasn't booked yet =\ I only knew about the RR & Garden View stipulation b/c of others that have booked it & posted their findings on here or other DIS threads. Sorry I couldn't be more help!

On the bright side, if they send them out to people who are already booked, then that will keep occupancy low, thus more reason to offer Free Dining to the GP.

I am really hoping that the fact that Disney is sending FD pin codes to people who already have reservations (and most already have FD too) will increase the odds of FD being offered for those still waiting to get that discount. I mean, I've gotten 2 emails & 1 snail mail pin code offers so that's 3 FD pin codes sent out that won't be used. I know others here have gotten them & not needed theirs, either so ... thinking positive thoughts for FD for all who are hoping to get it!

I am so glad that they are coming to NC!! That is a good sign! Just checked my mailbox and NADA....I will continue to wait...

Maybe I can say that cause I'm all booked for September... 104 days for me to go!

May I ask a "bounce back" question.... just thinking ahead, with a bounce back that they offer when you are there, do you have to book the same resort? or the same time frame? Last time we were there I knew we wouldn't be coming back the following year... but this time... maybe....

Usually can book any resort included in the BB offer and the time frame is within the same month you are currently traveling.

That would be cool. I was just talking to my hubs and he said it would be hard to pass up. Do they give you the Same discount or just a discount?

My next door neighbor, who we visited WDW with in 2009, just gave me her pretty yellow pin code mailing that she got today. She offered it to me, but I know they won't let me use it. I guess I will give up hope for being in this round of pins. Next door is as close to my location as you can get, so they must have other criteria than location. Perhaps I've visited too many times. She hasn't been since she went with me in 09.

Mailing list for pin codes is about as random as random can get! Joe has been to Disney a BUNCH of times, but has never gotten a pin. I've been to Disney many times as well, and I've received 3 in the last month or so.

You need a room that sleeps 5, correct? Is the PIN good for the family suites at AoA?

I have Dec 2 to 11th, I said I would change to 3rd or 4th, or Nov 30 to Dec 1, they told my daughter that she could have 2nd 3rd and 4th but after that it was blacked out, so I will just find another resort.

Maybe try a couple more days and then switch. Things do open up from what I understand, and I think you will surely get something as long as you book before it goes public, if it ever does. Or book something else and keep trying to switch it to your first choice.
