Free Dining 2013 Part 2 ~ The Sequel

Would it be wrong to call again three days after my last call? Seems as though I called a couple days before they sent more out....

Nope. ..call...I would :)

Here are our ADRs:

9/21 Rose & Crown
9/22 50s Prime Time Cafe
9/23 Crystal Palace
9/24 T-Rex
9/25 San Angel Inn
9/26 BOG
9/27 Tusker House - MNSSHP
9/28 Bongos Cuban Cafe
9/29 Sci-fi Drive In
9/30 Sanaa

All lunches or dinner no breakfast (part of plan for not losing mind!). However, I am desperately trying to get an 8-9 ressie for CP to experience the unopened park.

Also need to try to change our 9/25 Epcot visit with 9/29 HS so we can check out F&W. But the ressies times are not jiving!

Now where do I get these green Mickeys???

It's not wrong. CALL, CALL! It's been 3 days? Some call 3 times a day:laughing: Now would be a perfect time to call since new batch of PINs went out yesterday.

I wonder what time yesterday?!?! I called about 5pm....nothing! I usually get very nice CMs but she was in a mood.:rolleyes2

LOL! No it has been crazy with the end of year stuff for the kids school (I am unable to say no even when I want to!). I really just need to set a timer for every 2 hrs to check in here to stay caught up!

:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Are Tevas comfortable? The bottoms of say some of the flip flops do not look too dif from sandals. Am I missing something?

Yes, they are. I read customer reviews on them as well as the specs before I bought these. I wore a similar pair last year at WDW, and my feet didn't hurt. I

TMNT - teenage mutant ninja turtles? That would be cool. Alas, I'm already a little concerned about getting the 3 costumes done for DD, SIL & me done in time. :worried: Maybe if I win the lottery soon so I can retire early ... ;)
Btw, ac - if you select the 2nd option after you create your countdown ticker to cut & paste here on Disboards, it'll show up. (Html format doesn't work here - found that out by trial & error.)

Awesome - hope to see you all there.

I am making our costumes out of lightweight cotton fabrics (for the most part, anyway) so we won't roast in them.
As long as you get or make costumes in lightweight "breathable" material, you should be reasonably comfortable in them. You could use fabric paint on those orange t-shirts & draw jack-o-lantern faces on them; or put big red circle on one shirt & write "STOP" in middle of the circle, put big yellow circle on another one with "CAUTION" on it & the 3rd shirt with a big green circle with "GO" written on it so the 3 of you could go as a traffic light. :)

Thanks sylkie i think i got my ticker to work this time?? :cool1: Yes we are doing teenage mutant ninja turtles because i can make the costumes just out of t-shirt, a small mask and we can wear shorts with them! I really wanted to do a monsters inc. theme with mike, sully, the yeti, Cecelia, and Randal but i was worried about how hot we would be in those costumes. i was also just not sure they would fit in my suitcase. My 6 year old ds loves TMNT so i goggled them and lots of people have made homemade cotton t-shirt turtle costumes. BTW I love the traffic idea very cute. I'll be on the outlook for you guys!!

Very sweet of you to include us Octobers!!!

Looks like we will be there at the same time!

I wouldn't want to exclude anyone here just because they won't be at Disney at the same time I am. We're all a part of Joe's FD thread group, right? :grouphug:party:
Maybe you October ppl will be able to arrange a meet up if you want. I don't think anything definite has been planned yet for Sep, but I am hopeful.

Just paid off my package with disney cards i bought at target...:cool1::cool1:
thanks to all the great info on the dis i saved 120 bucks buying the cards at target.:thumbsup2

Now where do I get these green Mickeys???

I found some pre-made vinyl decals/stickets on ebay. You can choose color and size (price $1.99 and up depending on size). Also found some green self-adhesive backed vinyl sheets in both matte & glossy finish on ebay for around $2.50. Both had free shipping, too!
So, I bought a vinyl sheet and also bought a pre-made Mickey to use as a pattern to make a few more. ::yes::

How did you do that??
Target allows you to use your team member discount of ten percent on anything you purchase including the disney cards and if u have a target debit card u save an additional 5 percent off so i paid 85 bucks for every 100 in disney cards i bought if u have a friend who works there or has a target debit u can ask them to buy the cards for you if u dont have one.

Posted this in another post, but thought I would ask here:

I booked a dummy package to be able to make reservations at 180+10 (we are definitely going, but I won't decide where we are staying and what we will include in the package until discounts are released for our dates or we get the coveted pin). My dummy package included the dining plan so I could link the dining reservations to our dining plan and not pay up front for CRT or Hoop Dee Doo.

I know that you can cancel your package without messing up your dining reservations, but is this also true when you used your package number to book dining reservations that require pre-payment? I am planning to cancel our initial reservation and then re-book what we really want, but I don't want to mess-up those two reservations.

TIA for your help!

You can't cancel or it will screw up your dining. There is no reason to cancel anyway. You would just call and modify the existing reservation. You would keep the same resort reservation confirmation number.

I was kind of hoping if I cancelled it might trigger a pin. I've heard of that happening. I guess I will just leave it.

I have a Disney Visa question...

We just received ours... haven't even activated it yet.

Did I read somewhere that you can reserve your package with this card without making the $200 deposit, or did I dream that?
