Free Dining 2013 Part 2 ~ The Sequel

Darn, I missed it. I didn't know where to go either. I am not chat savvy....

At the bottom of my sig is the link to my blog....the chat is there in a link on the right side of the page. It's actually always open, you can go anytime but there may not be anyone in there.

We have an old computer that doesn't have a camera. Do I need a camera to participate in the chat?

Nope, just a keyboard to type. Btw, if you want a webcam, I found one on Amazon.com that was around $6 (sent to my son & DIL - nothing fancy, but it works).

I know you'll post something when it becomes available. I already have my vacation booked and going no matter what. Had today off so I've been on since this morning. Watching the movie MAGIC MIKE right now. Not much of a story line but I don't think they made this movie for that reason.:scared1:

That movies all about eye candy...I haven't seen it yet though lol

Do they ever send the good pins in snail mail or is it just the promotional offers you see online?:confused3

I got a snail mail FD offer for some March dates this year. We did not go last year and it said something like "since you haven't been WDW in a while, here are two offer..." In one column was a FD offer and in the other a RO discount. It made me have hope for our Nov. trip and also that am on their radar so to speak.

Ok...I got my new samsung galaxy 3 yesterday....wow what an adjustment. I'm still trying to figure it out. It took me a couple minutes to figure out how to reply to this thread lol The DIS app was one of the first I downloaded...along with candy crush lol

In case anyone is trying to find lime green Mickeys:
I found lime green Mickey decal/vinyl sticker for sale on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/MICKEY-MOUSE-EARS-LOGO-Vinyl-Decal-Sticker-DISNEY-/150552374784?ssPageName=ADME:L:OC:US:3160.
Also found some inexpensive vinyl self-adhesive vinyl sheets - can get gloss or matte finish (also on ebay) - http://www.ebay.com/itm/6-x12-Gloss-Craft-Adhesive-Vinyl-Sheets-Oracal-651-28-Colors-SAME-DAY-SHIP-/261065789049?ssPageName=ADME:L:OC:US:3160. <-- link for gloss finish.

Nope. It is just typed in time chat. It was fun for the bit I was there last night.

Thank you both for the info. Hopefully I'll be around for the next one. DS's school concert was last night.

My husband is addicted to Candy Crush. My 19 year old son told me to get the Iphone, because the Galaxy is too hard for me to figure out. I asked exactly what he was implying. :rotfl2:

We're looking at taking advantage of the Free Dining offer in September. Will it still be hot & humid the last week in September? Since that's the peak of hurricane season, do most of you purchase trip insurance? If so do you purchase it through Disney or through another company? This is my first time planning a trip to DW. I've planned and gone on lots of cruises but there's so much more to consider for DW...

We have gone every time in September except one, and this year we will be going the last week of Sept as well. And yes, it is usually hot and humid, but very low wait times for rides and they are air conditioned. We have never purchased trip insurance before; only one hurricane has directly hit WDW(so I was told by Disney) and that was in 2004 and we were leaving our home to travel to WDW that day. We still were going to go, but just called to inquire about it and were told they were open and ready for business. That same week we were there, another hurricane was traveling up the Gulf along the edge of Florida's coast. The weather was a little windy at times and overcast, but that was the best week we ever had there!

Just a side note: If you are seriously considering going during free dining, do not hesitate. Check the availability of restaurants you would like to dine at (if you want the basic dining plan-1 counter service, 1 table service, 1 snack a day or deluxe dining plan-3 meals per day) as they book up quickly during this time. You can make your restaurant ADR's before booking a package (I would do this first). People have been booking this package since May 6 and making ADR's since March.

Good luck!!! Congrats on your first trip! So excited for you!
