I am so frustrated that I keep calling & getting told no that I just want to cancel my reservation & go somewhere else I can afford to pay rack rate but why should I when the person in the next room isn't? Anyone else feel this way?

Awww! I know it's frustrating. When are you going? Keep trying and do not give up!!! A general public offer can NOT be ruled out and that usually does not happen till July or early August.

I know what you mean. It is discouraging but I am doing my best to keep the faith as pluto suggested.

We definitely need to keep the faith. My mom was told Friday night that the pins are getting mailed out and to start checking your mailboxes. This is one cm that I hope knows what she's talking about.

Thanks for the encouragement! I just called & asked about checking & was told no so I asked for a price quote & the cm said "well you already have quite a few saved to your profile" So I can't ask for one over the phone? He starts going down the list of saved like he can't give me a quote. When I called yesterday I was told that if I had a pin it would be emailed or mailed & I didn't need to call. If I am not getting a pin at least they could be nice about it, I am always nice to them

Iv never gotten pins by e-mail but have gotten them by snail mail in the past. Do you think if you have received them by mail that may be the way you receive them all the time?

Same here; I received one back in March I think. I hope I get one via snail mail, but I am continuing my daily calls.

Whole trip we celebrated my DS's bday last year and he wore his pin every day.

Same here. Got excited too till I opened it and saw the dates. Hope the Disney marketing dept remembers where I live. If any of them are watching, I live in Rhode Island. It may be small in population but it will be worth the postage.

Seems many are having trouble with mods. Most are being told only CBR has availability. A few others are told CSR and CBR. Lucky for us we are looking for CBR, but if only one mod is available will they even bother?

We are booked at GF but were considering switching to POR. We stayed at CSR for one night & would never stay there again. CBR might be ok though.

It will actually be my third stay at CBR. I know many don't like how spread out it is, but we love it.

I can understand pofq being sold out bc of its size, but por is one of there largest resort's. Do you mean the dates YOUR looking at are sold out or all weeks the pin covers.

Neither. I have not checked because I don't have the pin. I am going by others comments who have received the pins and tried to get the moderates. They have been varied dates. Many were given only options of CBR or CSR.

In the big scheme of things, if occupancy is still "low", they could make this a GP offer and open up more rooms for this. Just like there were a set number of rooms for Sept FD, then there were a specific number of rooms just for the pin and so on and so forth. Did I just confuse myself?

I understand what your getting at. Don't worry disneyfantothend, you'll be able to get what you want when your turn comes. I have moved my dates around so many time in hopes that I have picked the right ones for fd. Unfortunately, I have to arrive on November 10th so my sister can surprise my mom for her bday so we can give her the wishes dessert party. But I'm prepared to get a room only on that day and starting the pkg on November 11th.

And with the sept free dining offer I believe POFQ was sold out after the offer opened for disney visa holders. Then when it went public POFQ was available but only certain room catagories. I could only book gardenview. That night it was sold out. Then the next day you could get garden or standard view. This was all online. I don't know how or when they open up certain rooms for certain discounts. So don't get to discouraged yet. Sending lots of pixie dust to everyone.
