First time poster....first stay at WDW 10/1-10/5. Friend got FD PIN and not using it. Can I have it applied to mine? Booked thru AAA. Do I have to have AAA do this?

Unfortunately, you cannot use the PIN. They are nontransferable. There is still a chance that those dates will be offered to the public (likely in July). Good luck!

You can only use your friend's FD pin if your friend is going with you. Friend doesn't have to be in same room, but your reservations do have to be linked in order to use the code. If you had a travel agent book for you (like AAA), then they would need to make any changes to your reservation for you.
It is possible that more FD dates will be available after September, but nothing has been announced yet & probably won't hear of any GP offer until July or August. Good luck & enjoy your magical vacation!

I have my free dining November 11-18. We are coming 2 days earlier but they did a split reservation.......I'm so excited !!!!!: 3 rd trip without the kids and free dining this time. Woohoo we Loved all our trips with the kids but now they are Grown and have their own lives We Are having a blast at Disney kid free !!!woohoo Free dining here we come

I am arriving Oct 31. The CM I just spoke with told me that the free dining in September will be it for the year unless bookings are really low.

I have heard this a lot lately, but the thing is, Disney's "year" ends on Sept. 30. They go by the fiscal calendar, just like the federal government. It is extremely unlikely that there will be no discounts for Oct-Dec. It's possible that it might not be the traditional free dining, but there should be something.

CMs seem to be the new bus drivers when it comes to reliable information:

"There are no more offers coming."
"There are new offers coming June 17th."

"You can't transfer a PIN."*
"You can transfer a PIN if your husband demands a manager and faxes an email."

I don't work for the Walt Disney Funtime ConglomerCo. but I have a hard time believing that the number crunchers and managers who make decisions about occupancy levels run those decisions by the CMs on the phone first. The bus drivers obviously, but not the CMs.

*Okay, this one is actually a real thing. Seemingly. Most of the time. Except sometimes.

I called Disney today to book my trip (I have to make my ADR's tomorrow, so I had to have something booked even though I'm waiting for Free Dining!) and I asked the CM to check to see if I had a pin code...no luck! I wasn't really expecting one but still, would have been nice!

Guess I'll just stalk this thread every day and hope that it will be coming out soon!

He said it will more likely be the standard "percentage off" discount rather than free dining. Who knows??!!! Lol.

CM's are NOT allowed to tell and most don't even know till the day it comes out. they are famous for saying nothing is coming and then it does.

And besides that. They won't release any promo if bookings are up. The only reason for any promo is if bookings are down and need a boost.

That's what happened to me too. I called one week and nothing. I calked the nect week abd had a pin. That's why I tell people on here to keep calling. You never know.
