Free Dining 2013 Part 2 ~ The Sequel

They do mark your account each time you call. A couple people here have said the cms have commented about how often they called. I have not talked to any of those cms yet. However, my dh called once and they barely asked him anything. He was off the phone in less than a minute. I don't even think they looked.

If they did I would ask is it a problem I'm trying to have a magical time? I guess I better stop calling for a while...

5:55pm. We are lucky enough to have an actual drive-in near our house and our DDs get such a kick out of it. I am sure that they would love this! When is your ADR?

We have lunch right now but trying to get a decent dinner time between now and then.

My sister called yesterday and her husband had a pin so seeing we were all on the same reservation we got free dining!!!

She said there were various dates were from August through December. YAY for our October trip. Almost thought we were going to have to start having garage sales or something to make extra money for some of the places we wanted to try this year.

So a blog released some info yesterday about the free dining PINs possibly going public around July, as if it were new and breaking news. I've had this same info both here and on my blog for what, three weeks now?

I guess we are just ahead of the curve on this thread aren't we?

I have not been keeping up here at all, but I heard a rumor on another posts that says "someone high up" told someone that the next promotion is being released on June 17th. Has anyone else heard this at all?

High up was a CM, so not sure how much credit you want to put in that. June would be unprecedented early for a release, when out of the last three years, one was in August and two in July. This year they've been really good at waiting it out a bit longer than usual, so I would expect later rather than sooner.

The first time I called about a pin, i was told the NEXT OFFERS would be released on Monday, June 17. There was no info on what type of offer that would be....SPECULATION was on here that it might be free dining.

When I called a second time, they were going to let me use a co-workers if I would fax them her emailed offer. I was given a private fax number and a name to put on the cover sheet (first and last name). My husband said let me deal with this nonsense (as he called it) and his call was escalated to an upper manager. We DID NOT have a pin to our names, BUT before our call ended, we WERE GIVEN free dining for our October trip with the emailed confirmation that it was added to our reservation.

DH works for the govt? My DD does, too. She got notice that furlough will start in July - 1 unpaid day off per wk for 11 wks (which includes the dates we'll be at WDW) - so having the FD is a real blessing as well as being totally cool!

Yes, DH is a supervisor for the DoD. He may alternate Fridays and Mondays so he has 4 day weekends. Free dining is a huge help to us, especially this year.
