Ladybugz/Kelly, for CSR I am assuming that it being harder to get for FD means that there are no rooms available? What about if you already have a reservation? I think I read that they will only give you free dinning if the have rooms available for free dinning? So if they are booked then no rooms for FD?

Evidently, Kepe This means I'm stuck in the double beds at POP. My dh wanted CSR because of the fitness center and lap pool. BOO! I love POP but I was really looking forward to those beds.

This makes me so happy!!! The wait is almost over for FREE DINING!!!

Our power was out for a few days so I'm late getting the news.

This year is a special one for me (turning 40) so the photobook will be an added souvenier.

I'm just thrilled to be saving so much money.

I wish everyone good luck on getting thier resort of choice....Monday!

I for one don't mind having to pay a little extra for the Memory book. #1 with a family of 7, the savings is still over $1000, #2 my husband is a major cheapskate and never wants to buy any of those extras. (He thinks souveniers are a money trap) So this is a way that he has no say in it and I finally get some special photos and get to make use of the cute photopass pics we get. #3 what a better excuse to move our vacation up by a week.

I hear you! With the pin codes (that we didn't get! ) ending 8/13, and last year's FD not beginning until 8/19, and now these new dates, there is effectively no FD for about a week in mid-August. Very odd.

I really feel bad for the people who wanted dates in mid-August. I had friends booked those weeks and were hoping for a better deal. On the other hand I'm a little glad...I have FD the 8/20-8/27 and perhaps it wont be as crowded as if FD would have be offered for that week.

Yes I know they didn't offer if probably because they have filled plenty of rooms that week already but you never know.

I know. I have POP booked with 25% GP pin at POP Aug 16 to Aug 27. Was hoping for FD but we can't stay any later DS starts school Aug 31.

Beacuse that week is still summer vacation for some of us. I'm sure they didn't incude it this time around beacuse they are happy with bookings that week.

We will see how busy it is Ds doesn't go back to school until Aug 31 but a lot of the kids in the US will already be back in school. We booked the FD bounceback which we used last August. I think our dates were Aug 16 to Aug 24 last yr.

Let's hope not. I'm still .The FD,even with the upgrade from CS to DDP plus the photobook would have saved me another $200. Not that much but the $200 could have gone toward our flights.

If you're talking about my post, I should clarify that this wasn't the catalyst for not renewing my AP but it is an example of the type of thing that has led me to my decision to not renew. There are so many reasons that have been building up. It no longer makes financial sense so I'm definitely not cutting off my nose despite my face with my choice to not renew. I'll still go to WDW but likely not as often.

Looks like CSR is booked for my dates 9.16-9.25. This doesn't make sense. POFQ was wide open. Would someone like to volunteer to check with the Disney Visa for me? Maybe they are holding rooms for FD.

There are 2 conventions scheduled at CSR during your vacation. One is 9/22-24 and the other is 9/23-25 (according to another website source). I would keep trying. They may be holding rooms and/or other folks already booked there may upgrade to a deluxe this week with the FD. Good luck

Yes last year they opened some up a little later but they were the water rooms.

We are booked for POP right now so really hoping we can get into a moderate. I don't really care which one. But this is my order CBR,POFQ,POR then CSR. So this offer isn't saving me any money. Just making me spend more. A friend of mine has the DV going almost the same time she got CBR no problem. So I should be ok

i'm trying to nail down the schedule with the kids and then i'll call to make the reservation...

Anyways, FD saves us $46 per person, PER DAY, and there are 5 of us in 2 Mod rooms.....we would of went with the 40% BB if we wanted the Villas...but our choices are:

CBR

I know I acutally like the idea of the book. We almost purchased it last year so it really isnt' a big deal we need to pay for it. Fd still saves us 268.00 over the kids free promo we have.

I have a free dining pin code that was to expire yesteday. We didn't decide that we could go until last night. I called to make reservations at 10:30 last night and they were closed. (I thought that they were open 24-7). I tried today and the CM told me that he couldn't get the system to take it.

Should I try again later today with a different CM or try tomorrow when the computer folks are in? Do you think it might help?

Hours are 7AM - 10 PM weekdays and 7AM to 8PM weekends. You could have made it online as that is 24 hours a day. I'm so sorry, but you are probably out of luck as they will not take expired codes.

yup, that's the very week i need....
i'm feeling a bit screwed....

im not going this year myself, but i was wondering and i think alot of others were as well, what is up with the dates?? we are planning august 17 - 25 next year and if those weeks are skipped again I wont get it either!! My mom got the book by dec 2010 deal and got FD so i am wondering if they will bring that back. im hoping for even a nice room discount or something.. what are they thinking????

historically yes! You should have your first choice of resort ready but have a few back up resorts ready too, your first choice may not be available....

Mousesavers shows the offer as the same as the Visa one. O'well, I was wishing the public offer would be extended till last week of Sept. Good luck to everyone who can use those dates.
