I get tons of PINs all the time... but they're never for dates I'm able to go! Recently we got 2 FD PINs sent to us in the mail that were for dates 4/23-8/13. Which are dates we aren't able to go to WDW due to work. We're hoping for FD in September!!

Though the addresses we had the PINs sent to were... interesting. My boyfriend and I live together, but we aren't married. So we have different last names. I always book our WDW trips in my name. Last year we booked our trip in May and went in September. Well, we moved into a new apartment over the summer. At the time of booking our trip, we didn't yet know the address we'd have in September... So I booked our trip in my name using my parents' address. Since we moved I've requested a free vacation planning DVD in my name at our new address. Well, we got a FD PIN sent to our address in my boyfriend's name. Then right after that, we got another FD PIN sent in my name... to my PO Box! I've never used my PO Box address for anything Disney related ever! I only use it for business mailing. So yeah, I have no clue where Disney got our names and addresses!

I got a notice from my TA stating starting Friday April 8, Disney is accepting reservations for cruises for 2012 out of New York. I think that is the announcement for Friday.

They made the annoucement for the new cruise ports for 2012 yesterday. You just can not book until Friday, unless you are a Gold/ Platinum Castaway Club member, then you can book today.

I received a pin for free quick service dining, and I have actually convinced the rest of the family we should go! I e-mailed my Dreams TA yesterday, and she still hasn't gotten back to me. I'm very impatient, as we found airfare that works for both time and cost with what we want to do.

I can get 2 rooms with a pin, right?

You can get up to 3 rooms with a pin.

Why not call Disney and do your own booking? When your 180 days are here, you can make your own dining reservations and watch here to see if there are any new offers and call Disney do see if the new offer applies to you, then you don't have to wait for your agent to get back to you.

Received a free quick service dining plan today. Called and had it attached to my wife's email. The guy on the phone told me it is for stays at a value/moderate resort. We are staying at CBR from May 4-10. Not sure what time frames it is good for though. You can upgrade to the dining plan plus for $10/day/person.

I Haven't booked a disney tirp yet, i have been reading the forums and read how people call disney and find out if they have a pin attached to their name. Can I do this before I book? or do I find out after I book or at the same time? I''m just curious if I can call and find out what the pin discount could be and then I will decide on days resorts etc... and book. I just want to know the discount before i make plans.

I just chatted with a CM online, and they said there are going to be no more public free dining discounts offered this summer. I give up trying I've called several times and my DH has called too. I guess free dining just isn't meant to be for us.

the CMs work in call centers (not all in Orlando) they only know what they are told by the powers that be, probably don't get more than a week or two notice of codes and only then because they need staffing for the public ones. If you call often enough you'll realize that they basically all 'read fom a script' as to stating the current offer is the best there is...until the next one is rolled out lol.

summer is right around the corner, yet i'd think mid-august is still in playfor early Dec.

Ask before you book. The CM will then check to see if there's anything available. If there's no discount, you can always apply a pin code or a new discount to your reservation when one comes out. Lots of people book then get a pin.
