Goodmorning everyone...sorry about the code confusion, I didnt realize it was a TA's code only. At least the rest of the information was correct. I was just trying to help.

Anyway...I need some reassurance if you please. I am currently booked for POP from 9/20 -9/27 and FD was sold out. They offered me ASMovies. I opted to stay with POP, it is really the resort I wanted to stay at with my DD2.5. My AAA agent said she would call back a couple of times a day to see if she can get me FD in case someone cancels.

Did I make a mistake? Should I have gone with ASMovies. My concern with Movies is the sharing of busses. And I thought POP had more amenities that my DD would live (playground, kids pool, pop jets). I dont know if I am being silly or not and should have just taken AS Movies. This is driving me nuts.

How long does it take to receive an e-mail with the free dining attached to the reservation after booking it? I checked my reservation online and can not find where dining package is. I only booked it 40 minutes ago though.

I have a reservation for CSR from Aug 22nd thru Aug 30th. So I should be able to breakup my current reservation so I can receive the free dining for 6 of the 8 nights?

Yes, you should. I booked 8/22 & 8/23. Then 8/24 - 9/1. Cant, wait.

Hi-

Just booked Pop for 9/10-9/17. I called first thing this morning and asked for dates 9/16-9/23 and she said sure...then I said will free dining be through the 23rd with those dates and CM said no just until the 20th so I changed the dates to reflect....but looks like I if I didn't open my mouth I could have kept it....or maybe she was just going to have the dates until the 20th with free dining and then add dining to the rest??? I'll never know and I'll drive myself crazy worrying about it....I'm just so happy to have a ressie booked. I didn't do the bounceback last year and in hindsight...maybe should have.

I got all my dinner ressie's except for Canda. For those that are interested in Canada or another hot ticket....we are a large party and they can accomidate us better than a table for 2. They had Canada at 4ish (way too early for us) for a table of 7 but nothing all week for a table for 2 for hubby and I. But...

I am in such a chipper mood today...the kids have no idea and think mom's gone crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good luck to all....don't worry...as long as you are flexible...all will work out!!! I'm not going the week I want...and am missing MNSSHP...but...look at the savings....no dinner in Canada....but we will all be together...and it will be a blast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now back to life as usual

I would call back and double check the dates because quite a few people on here were able to get the promtion extended throughout their stay past the 20th. That seems weird that some are able to do it and others aren't.

I guess it depends on TA but all I know is that our TA got us POFQ and we are thrilled. She's the best.

Did I make a mistake? Should I have gone with ASMovies. My concern with Movies is the sharing of busses. And I thought POP had more amenities that my DD would live (playground, kids pool, pop jets). I dont know if I am being silly or not and should have just taken AS Movies. This is driving me nuts.

We like the Movies (stayed 3 times), but just wanted to try Pop. If you are worried about the buses filling up before they get to the Movies just go to the first resort and wait there. DS (3) likes the playground. Thanks for the heads up on free dining today. I thought it was the 10th.

Are the playgrounds all different at the value resorts and what are pop jets?

After two hours I was finally able to change my exsisting reservation (September 28th - Ocotober 5th) to September 20th - September 28th! Still at Port Orleans Riverside, had to give up the King Bed but I ended up saving $900 and getting free dining, so I am very happy!

I am booked -- 2 rooms at POP for 9/15 through 9/26 with free dining entire trip!

I was on hold for about 70 minutes and then got the greatest CM Ann , who was not only cheerful, but very helpful in all our requests. We had wanted ASM, but she said it would be safer for us to do Pop to guarantee adjoining rooms. Since there are 8 of us we'll have a GG, and she even came up with a cute name for our group. She was really laying on the pixiedust! We got values, extended dining, and adjoining rooms... everything we had been wondering if, if, if about!

I am so excited ...this will be the first time at WDW for my mom!! Good luck to the rest of you. Now heading for the coffee pot...

Sigh... got another CM. She said ASMFS WERE included in the code, but that you had to complete the travel by the 20th, she has tried and can't do it any other way. I'm about to give up I think.

In reference to booking free dining on 4/10...is the deposit due at the time of booking or are you extended the 14 day courtesy hold like you are when booking room only. I have never booked a package through Disney before.

Also, was anyone able to book Deluxe Dining - what was the price difference. Thanks.

I am waiting eagerly until Thursday, as us poor Canadians can't get Disney Visas!

Hope it does extend past the 20th as we wanted 17-27. Seems most are getting it, but some are not! Hopefully we get the one that will let us!

I think you should switch to ASMo for the FD, and then keep trying every so often to see if anything opens up at POP. Every so often something opens up due to cancellations, or they release more rooms. I was able to change resorts a couple of times a few years ago.

No free dining for me...cuz it was going to cost us literally $1200.00 for "free" dining. I think I'll take my pin code, thanks. Congrats to everyone who got lucky though.

You have to pay a $200 deposit right then.

I just called. Yes the Disney visa offer is in effect today, and YES trips can start on September 20 and get free dining for the entire trip!! Regular booking will begin Thursday.
