done...made my ressies for 8/24 - 8/27 and modified my AAA room only ressie for 8/20 - 8/24. Was able to add only one day base tickets. She kept saying AYG was not valid but since I asked for free dining she could give it to me and asked where I found the code. She had the others (for free deluxe dining etc) but couldn't find AYG. ALready mde my ADR's yesterday so we're all set!

On hold for 20 minutes and ready to hurl the phone after listening to the hold music at 7:00 in the morning. Any tips other than sheer patience for getting through? I have my cell phone on the ready to deploy any other tactics. Oh well, keep your fingers crossed.

Did you pay the difference for Deluxe Dining? How much a day was that?

The deluxe was $32 a day a person which I think is a pretty good deal. It's easy to spend that much on food at WDW.

The deluxe was $32 a day a person which I think is a pretty good deal. It's easy to spend that much on food at WDW.

I can't imagine eating that much food every day at DW. They'd have to roll me out of there.

teling me I can't amend my ressies that I made online. You had to have called and made your original ressie. so this guy won't even let me cancel while he's on the phone and make new ones b.c he knows that is what I'm doing. So according to this guy I have to call and make new ressies and then call back to cancel. He can't do it because he knows what I'm doing. Not too nice, here.

We booked a room only first. I called back last week and added the dining package then. So he was just able to add the FD and did not have to cancel the reservation. If it's room only, they will have to cancel and rebook.

We decided against the deluxe, way too mch food and too much time spent in restaurants. Good luck everyone.

Ok just to update everyone, I was able to book the Free Dining and upgrade to the Deluxe Dining for just 32.00 a day per person. I'm staying at the Wilderness Lodge and no problems there, she just added it and I was done. The dates of my stay is Sept 15-20 so I didn't find out if they are letting you use the free dining plan past the 20th......sorry.

I have to go get ready for work but will answer any questions when I get to work and catch up on this thread.

For the record though, those codes didn't work for me with the lady I had, she was quite gruff about it too. Then I just told her I was trying to book free dining and she was able to add it then.

I don't think you can book online until the code is released through email to Disney Visa or through WDW website to GP. I don't see any place to imput a code, at least.

When I did this last year I was on hold for 50 minutes so don't give up.

I am envious of all of you Americans with your Disney Visas. We unfortunate Canadians must wait until Thursday since we cannot get Disney Visas.

Gosh, we don't have a DP on our ressie right now. I hope I don't run into trouble with this. I don't know if I can handle the stress.

That's what I think too but we want to try some signature restaurants we couldn't do otherwise. We will probably come home heavier

Yes just the dining. We booked a moderate resort and I'm not sure the room rate per night I will have to sit down with a calculator to figure that out later.

Maybe that's why some of the CMs are cranky. Maybe others just don't like being on the phone.
