Again no one has answered me. Can I still keep my ressie with AAA and add the free dining? Also does anyone know at what time you can start calling Monday? Would it 12:01 am est? or 7am or 9 am?

Absolutley, but you will lose your AAA discount. I urge you to have your AAA agent to call at 7 am form their home. Mine is

No problem at all for posting the details. We are in South Jersey and my Mom's Disney rep emailed all of her agents right after lunch letting them know it was coming.

The email did not say anything about checking in on the last day and getting Free dining for the duration of your stay. I am waiting for that too as we are booked 9/20 - 9/27 @ Pop.

I am actually booked through AAA as their MYW + Dining vaca price was better than booking through Dis w/ a code attached to my name. I did go into their office today and my AAA rep called Dis, and they said they didnt know about hte code yet, but if I was a Dis Visa holder to call back on 4/7 for booking details.

Did you mom get any details about included resorts...some have reported they have heard you must stay at moderate or above to get FD.

o, are the tickets' dates set between those times as well?... so if i bought them on 26th, i have to use the tickets from 26th on?

Because those tickets would be "tied" to that reservation, you cannot use those tickets until you check in on that date. You can NOT use them before they become available.

You could do the room only and purchase your tickets from somewhere else and hopefully save a few dollars and then only purchase a one day ticket with your free dining reservation. IF we are allowed to only purchase a one day ticket. I thought there was some talk that you might have to purchase a ticket for all the nights of your dining plan. But I haven't heard that one lately.

Nope - a lot of people go to disney because school is out for election days up north. We had this happen to us in 2005. We were there over Nov 7 and a ton of people were there, we didn't understand why and it was due to schools closing in order to allow voting. Apparently that is very common in the Northeast. So this does not sound like a trick at all to me!!!

We now know the rumored dates ( Free Dining. 08/24/08 - 09/20/08) and they seem to be in line with past history

I absolutely agree. This is my 4th year watching the FD chaos and find that once TAs start leaking out the dates, they are pretty much right on the money. We do always have a few naysayers who refuse to believe it, but I personally think this info is accurate and expect to start seeing it posted on some of our reliable unofficial Disney websites, probably before the end of the day. I knew my dates (Aug. 10-20) were not included because I had a TA confirm to me that my dates were sadly not the dates he knew about. I'm over it now, but after this most current news that TAs are now posting, it's pretty much a done deal. I personally was holding out that my info was incorrect. Now to plan B! (step one--cancel my ADRs)

You have a good chance starting on the 10th ! Last year people called until June.

Wildirishrose, would you also post details of what you did to get (hopefully) the DP extended through your stay?

I'm thinking things like -- did you have a package booked first? Did they make you cancel and re-book (would you ask?) or just apply the plan to it.

la la,... i'm sorry! I'm being pushy and I'm just curious! I haven't even decided between my 2 choice dates yet eihter Since a Labor day trip is possible it's not cruicial to me to be able to go Sept 19-27 but I sure would LIKE to!

I will post on Monday everything that I got. I do have a suit at ASMu right now because we were going regardless of free dining. My DH is going to shoot me Monday the 7th is the first day of our vacation at the beach and I will be getting up early lol oh well.

When we booked free dining last year it was the end of May and we still were able to get ressies at CRT, Chef Mickey's, Coral Reef, and many others!

If anyone is trying to make ADR's for Chef Mickey's with FD you might want to ask if they are doing the lunch special. Last year all of the dinner times were taken but a very nice CM told me that they were doing a lunch just to handle the volume from FD.

From what I have read on the board you probably can. It sounds like Disney allots a certain # of rooms for the Disney Visa then opens up more rooms for the public. The key is to be flexible and have a couple of backups (I have 4)

So for other details..the emial only stated the one code. Also, it mentioned an example of a 5n/6d vacation but said longer and shorter stays were available. And again did not say anything about Values being excluded.

I can tell you all one thing...if bounceback is offered again this Sept. then I am booking it...this waiting/uncertainty has driven me nuts.

Totally Agree! It's become my latest obsession. I'll have to go back to work once it is announced
