Free Dining '10 Update: Disney Visa FD Released (See pages 1 & 57+ for details)

Just want to point out that the information in the first post that supposedly comes from MouseSavers.com is NOT correct and has been substantially changed from what is on my site.

The Disney Visa Kids Stay, Play and Dine offer has NOT, to the best of my knowledge, been extended to the public. The public offer is "Kids Stay and Play" and does not include dining.

I've sent the OP a PM asking him or her to fix this. In the meantime, I didn't want anyone to be confused.

I've updated the first page with the correction and PM'd you thanking you for pointing out my error:flower3:

lildamo-We stay value-we spend all day at the parks and/or pool, and just need somewhere to shower and sleep;when we get in from dinner, we are usually just ready for an ice cold beer(Powerade for the kids),a shower, and the TV watching us sleep!:goodvibes

We're staying value at WDW too, then "splurging" at Universal. Your plan sounds amazing (and one I wish I could be living out right now!)!! :goodvibes

Good night everyone.. hope we all get some good news in the morning!!

It doesn't say free dining until you add it to your package, and then it does. I just changed my reservation with Disney to kids stay, play & dine free. When you quote the kids stay & play free promotion and then add the dining plan it the title fo the quote says "kids play, stay & dine "

My original reservation was $2867.00 and with this new promotion it is now $2247.00 :)

Wait a second, scratch that I don't think the dining was free, I think I just read the title wrong:headache:

When you include the dining plan at the top of the quote it says "Kids stay and play plus dining" I think I thought that meant their dining was free too, but it's not right?

I'm so confused

If it is made with a DVisa deposit the kids stay, play & dine free(QSDP)...if it is the GP offer it is only stay & play free. Depending on how many kids it sounds like you have the GP offer no free QSDP. SORRY!! But at least you still saved

Yes I'm an idiot, I totally read it wrong :rotfl: I did just save on their park tickets, not the free dining. However I'm still happy about saving $635.00 to be exact :)

I should edit my previous posts so people don't think I'm simple :lmao:

Ok Disney, I have my tea and am listening to Sorcerer Radio (figure a little magic can't hurt!:lmao:) so lets get to it!!!!!!

Okay, I tried clearing my cookies and all, but my Disney Visa site seems to have reverted the kids deal back to August 14TH?? Never mind it is back to Oct again. I think they are messing with our minds.

This is by Len Testa at http://blog.touringplans.com/2010/04/22/scurrilous-rumor-department-next-disney-world-discount/:

The next discount to be announced should include the Disney Dining Plan. We’ve heard it will appear for Disney Visa cardholders around April 29, and the general public May 2. Travel dates should begin around August 15 (the day after the current discounts end). No word on the end travel date, but we expect it to be very late September or very early October, as it has been in the past.

We’re hearing conflicting details about the dining offer itself. Two sources says the offer will be scaled back (one says “drastically”) from last year. We interpret this to mean that everyone using this offer will get the Quick Service plan by default – including guests staying at deluxe resorts – and can use that discount towards purchasing the standard dining plan. However, one other source thinks the free dining offer will be the same as last year’s (Quick Service at value resorts, standard plan at moderates and deluxes). If we hear more we’ll let you know.

Ask me at 7:07 am vs 6:56am..
