Hoping this is offered in late 2010.:tinker:

Come to think of it, why haven't we heard anything? It seems like in previous years there were a lot of rumors, "a cast member told me....." kind of stuff floating around. I'm getting a little nervous since I am booked at rack rate and was hoping to get some discount. The pin codes always seem to elude me.........Has anyone heard ANYTHING at all????????

I could start the infamous "A WDW bus driver told me..." rumor. Would that help:confused3

:rotfl:

So what is happening with that 5th gate? Or the Halloween themed resort?

:rotfl2:
The Halloween-themed resort (HTR) will be connected to the expansion of the monorail, which will eventually extend to ALL WDW resorts, including FW. The current monorail resorts will have their monorail access removed and replaced instead with moving walkways. Their tracks will be relocated to the HTR.

Jumping in on this....has been a couple of years since we have done FD.

Quick question for anyone who can answer...my oldest will be 10 yrs old by the time we travel. Would I have to pay the adult price for her on the dining plan or do they still have the junior pricing?

10 is considered an adult by Disney standards, so yes you would have to pay full price (unless it's free!!)

10 and older is considered an adult. But that's not such a bad thing. My DD11 couldn't wait to turn 10 because she hated the kids' meals and thought the adult meals were much better (and they are;))

Thank you both WDWKOOK and luvdisney00 for your quick responses. My DD would love to eat off the adult menu! My other question then is when I am calculating the different plans for price comparisions then with my, DH, DD7 and DD10 I would do 3 adults and 1 child on everything including ticket, or just the dining plan?

Yes, including the tix. But, not the room which 17 and under stay free and are not considered adults until 18 - so you don't have to worry about that for another 8 years:worship:

Amen to that, now to go price it out. We actually have old unused tickets from several years ago, but if I could get FD might just save the old tickets and do FD in Sept or Oct. Thanks for your info on this thread!:goodvibes

I know people are getting nervous, but I'm totally optimistic about FD this year. The fact that the current promos end on 8/14 would just be too much of a coincidence.

Yeah, there are a few alternative scenarios, but truth is, they're probably gonna do it again!
