Free DDP

First time visitor to Disney and I am beyond excited but slightly confused on the Free dining plan I have booked. I am arriving on Aug 27th on a 8AM flight and leaving Aug 31st on a 7PM flight. This makes it a rather full 5 days 4 nights. I assumed that the DDP allowed as many meals/snacks as Days but according to my paperwork the DDP follows Nights. I called to confirm and was told on my day of arrival I only get a dinner (Table Service?), and on my departure date a breakfast or lunch (Counter Service?). So if I understand now, I only get 4 table service & 4 counter service meals and 3 snacks? Sorry, if this sounds dumb, but it is going to affect my ADR's and I have to probably cancel at least one now.

its based on nights,your stay 4 nights = 4 TS 4 SC and 4 snacks.to be honest its more than enougth food

I agree with PaulH..It is MORE then enough food..It may not seem like it now, but it works out well.

I have had early arrivals and late departures and had plenty of credits and just couldn't even spend all the Snack credits before the last day (we end up grabbing snacks for the flight/back home).

As Paulh said, the Disney Dining Plan is based on the number of nights.

You are staying 4 nights, so you and everyone in your party gets 4 table service credits, 4 counter service credits, and 4 snack credits.

You get more than enough food!!!!!!!!! Also, if you are checking out from your hotel and are staying for some time that day - you have until midnight of the day you check out to use all your meals and snacks.

Also, you can use all of your credits on one day if you wish. You're not limited to only having a TS the day you arrive, for example. You could use a CS for dinner, and then use a TS credit for breakfast the day you leave.

Remember that you can use the credits any way you chose. You could use three CS one day and three TS another ( don't do this - way too much food)or however you wish to split them up. Most days we used a CS for breakfast and a TS for dinner but not always.
