Free DDP Booking SUCCESS!!? - Post 'Em Here!

After 1-1/2 hours on hold I was able to book CSR standard for 8/30-9/4 free dining, one day base tickets for me, DH, DS13, DS15 no travel ins. (I'll get this on my own for less) $1,105.64. It would've been $75 more for water view and $119 more for insurance. I was able to make all of our dining ressies where I wanted and when I wanted it was worth the wait. I checked my email still nothing from disney visa. What would we do without mousesavers and the disboards! Good Luck to all! I also asked about paying the balance and the cm told me I could pay the balance with another cc or a debit card it did'nt have to be disney visa.

IF I BOOK THE PACKAGE I WANT ON LINE CAN I CALL AND ADD THE FREE DINING TO IT WHEN I CAN GET THROUGH??

WE NEED ONE OF THE ROOMS AT RIVERSIDE THAT SLEEP 5 AND I CAN GET IT ONLINE FOR MY SEPTEMBER DATES RIGHT NOW....

SHOULD I BOOK AND THEN CALL LATER TODAY AND ADD WITH THE CODE?

NO WHERE TOO PUT THE CODE ON LINE?

The CM I talked to yesterday said the entire package had to be paid for by Disney Visa to participate in the promotion??? I wonder why people are hearing different now- the reason we didn't try to book this morning is that I don't like my disney visa and am loathed to use it for ANYTHING- even to get free dining.

I would book the room, make sure to use a Disney Visa. Call when it is quieter, they should be able to just add the code!

TWO HOURS on hold for me also!! But worth it as we have a Grand Gathering already booked 9/19-9/23 with some staying to 9/26. 3 Rooms at POP. My room already had FD from Bounceback, but cm let me use MY Disney Visa for the other 2 rooms. Saving about $1400.00!! The CM DID say that using My visa for other rooms is not allowed, but the computer is letting it through SO FAR. I think this is OK in my case, as I am paying for everyone anyway. But just a warning that you MAY not be able to book more than one room with FD in future. I know this was the case on Bounceback - There was just me & 4yr old DGD at WDW in Dec, so I could only book one room.
Now I'll be able to book MNSSHP for everyone using some of the savings.

I was on hold for about 35-40 minutes. I didn't get my first choice of Coronado Springs- but got Caribbean Beach for 4 adults with 8 day park hoppers Sept 22-29th for $2447.

I added free dining to my existing reservation for POFQ, 2 adults, 9/20 - 25 (4 nights), with 1 day base ticket. Confirmation number and price stayed exactly the same - $865. I already made my ADRs a few days ago with no problems. Yay!!

I was on hold at home for 20 minutes, but had to leave for work. Then I was on hold on my cell phone for about 45 minutes on the way to work, but hung up by mistake when I got out of the car. Then I called again from work and was on hold for about 20 minutes when I finally got through. Called the 800 number all 3 times.

Awesome! It will be me, my DH, my in-laws (who have more energy than we do!), we're leaving my (teens) at home this time!

You are going to MNSSHP too, aren't you? I thought I noticed you over in that thread too, we are planning to go Friday 9/28. The only LTT dinner res they had open (for now) was right at 4pm! She said they may open more when the party is announced.

Was any one not able to book CBR ? I'm a teacher and I can't call until after school today. I need CBR for 9/17-22. Free dining was the only way I could get DH to okay this trip.

What's everyone doing while they're on hold? Anything fun?? I've just switched phones--- thought after 2 hours of use (since getting cut off when CSR answered after 1.75 hours and on hold again....) the first cordless might be getting tired!!!

If this happens to anyone else (since it's a little late) HANG UP. You have hit the black hole of the Disney phone system. Happened to me on the DVC Cruise a few years ago. On hold for 2 hours. Called on another phone while still on hold and was connected in 20 minutes. I wrote Disney a formal complaint but don't hold your breath waiting on a response LOL!

I was on hold for about 55 minutes. We got AKL savannah view 9/22-9/29--tried to get anything at WL, but they only had concierge available. We were already booked at the WL for October, but changed for free dining. I'm kind of sad, because we love WL, but I'm hoping we will also love AKL. I booked my parents at the ASMu standard room. Their total was obscene!! 7 nights, free dining and 1 day base ticket for $793.64!!! My CM said if I really wanted WL to try back Thursday morning when it goes public. She said they allocate rooms for both Visa free dining and public free dining. So for those of you who doesn't have the Disney Visa try not to worry!

Was any one not able to book CBR ? I'm a teacher and I can't call until after school today. I need CBR for 9/17-22. Free dining was the only way I could get DH to okay this trip.

There seemed to be alot of availability when I called so don't worry too much! I asked my CM about a couple of different places and he didn't see anything blocked out including CBR.

THANKS SO MUCH! I DID JUST BOOK ON DISNEY.COM AND GOT MY ROOM AND USED MY DISNEY VISA FOR THE DEPOSIT! I WILL CALL THIS AFTERNOON AFTER THE RUSH AND ADD THE CODE.

I ALSO HAVE TO CANCEL MY ROOM ONLY 40% OFF AT PORT ORLEANS. I HOPE THAT I CAN JUST MOVE THAT MONEY OVER TO MY NEW RESERVATION.
