Wondering what the measurement was for your Pick A Pearl ? I have been tossing around the idea of getting one ( in two weeks ) when we go. :cool1: I am afraid that I will get one so tiny that it wouldn't even be worth setting. :rotfl2: If you don't mind sharing , did you get it Downtown or in Japan ? And while I am being so nosey what was the cost ? Thank-you for any info that you can send. :wave2:

I got mine at Epcot. It's in Japan, inside the Matsu-something store. They have a little ceremony, it's cute. My pearl was 7 3/4 mm! I think it cost $16 for the pearl. The setting and chain I chose were $34 together. So altogether, it was $50 by the time it was all said and done. One thing I wasn't anticipating ,there was a 20 minute wait for them to "set" the pearl, so the glue would have time to set.

Thank-you very much for being so helpful. :worship: I will be celebrating a " milestone " birthday and my 30th wedding anniversary. DH thinks the pearl wold be a memorable item for the occasion. I'm always into new jewelry :rotfl2:. Your TR was fantastic !

Thanks so much! Enjoy your special celebrations. I really wanted DD to pick a pearl, I thought it would be special and lasting instead of just another souvenir, but... She's 12 ;)

Thanks so much for the reviews, what a fun journey. My DH and I are going for our one year anniversary, got engaged at Disneyland in front of Rapunzel and Flynn (our favorites) and thought Disneyworld for one year seemed perfect. So About the QS, how to ensure you are using your QS for breakfast and not your snack?

What places and food are must dos?:p

(Can I just say in this dining report that my DS14 smiled so much at WDW! I haven't seen that grin in a long time but everywhere we went he got into the game and I think he loved every minute. That was the magic for me.)

I agree! So much of the magic of family vacations--and particularly for Disney vacations--is how happy we all are together and the memories of having fun together. My own 14 DS is a great kid--but rather surly these days. I'm looking forward to our February trip!

Thanks for posting your trip report! I really enjoyed reading about it!

You can request a printout of your DDP credits any time. It tells how many of each kind you have left. I neglected to do that until it was too late. I miscalculated.

Must-do's are very subjective. That's why I appreciated dining reports. I was able to figure out which I thought my family would enjoy based on other people's reviews.

This is it, exactly! My Ds14 is just as you describe. That's what made it so special for me. And you totally nailed the concept behind my trip report - "where the magic is". It's not about the doing and seeing, but about enjoying the people you are with. My favorite picture wasn't the one with Mickey, it was the one where ds14 had his arm around DS 7.

I'm a little late but I finally had the chance to read all of your reviews! You have a great sense of humor and a lovely family. and now I know that you can get bacon on your pizza at WPE (other than just at breakfast!!). You learn something new here every day! Sorry to hear that your DS was a little under the weather. Somehow we lucked out and DD13 started feeling a little ill when we were on our way home rather than when we were at WDW.

You also made a comment early on in your report about how the characters really need to think on their feet. I've often wonder how they train them for that! You never know what kids are going to say!!

I think we're staying at AoA for our next trip and I've got that caprese sandwich written down in my notebook already because it sounds like something I'd love! And those last pics must be Beverly! :lmao:

I really enjoyed your reviews!!

Thanks so much for your kind words! You'll love AoA, it's great!

Yes indeed, that is the Beverly! DS14 of course went from, "why did you do that to me?!" to "Hey ds7, you really ought to try this!" I gave ds7 a taste and dumped the rest. He said, "Why did you throw that away? I liked it?" :rotfl: DD was smart enough to read the descriptions. She saw "Bitter" and said No thank you!
