Not free, but I was able to purchase passport sized vinyl holders that will easily fit the shot card and protect it without having to prevent it from being used again. They also came with lanyards, so you can wear the thing around your neck in case you need it for travel. They were 5 for $5.95 on Amazon.

Could it be that they are going to force this on those who don't want it? I am not an anti vaxxer but I certainly don't agree with forcing people to get them either. I have a really bad feeling about how those who decide against getting the vaccine may be treated.

I don't think the gov't will require it. But it might be that private entities as well as other countries do. So people will have to make choices.

Of course they won't force you to use the digital app. However if you do get one. It should be just like it is at the airport. Sure you can use the old fashioned paper boarding passes at security. But if you want to skip the 30 minute bag check lines, 60 minute security lines, etc. you could get the airlines phone app and pre-check so you could skip the manual bag check lines and also skip the regular TSA security lines. I would be down at the airport lounge on my second glass of wine before pen and paper crowd even gets to the x-ray machines.

I'm sure sooner or later Disney will partner with Clear so you can skip all of the security lines at Disneyland. Just like many of the professional sports teams are doing at the stadiums.

The cards definitely can be different sizes. Mine is 5.5”x 4.5”. I got my shot at a Kroger. My mother got her shot thru a local hospital and her card is
smaller. Hers will fit in her wallet. Mine will not.

Once I get my second shot on Saturday (woo hoo!), I plan on scanning the card, making it a smaller size, printing that out and laminating it.

My card is a little larger than a standard credit card. It is currently in my wallet. I could just laminate it at the office if I wanted to, but meh.
