FREE Collapsible Water Bottle (these things rock!) Great for Disney

I am filing a complaint with the FTC today. I am also filing a dispute with the credit card company.

Savemore and WaterBottle are deleting posts on Facebook, and WB is blocking people who are complaining. On FB, there is a button on the left side of the screen, to report a page--if everyone who has gotten scammed by either company would report it as a scam, then FB willl take down their pages.

Don't bother filing with teh BBB. The BBB rates companies good or excellent if they receive a fee from them.

I couldn't find either company on FB.:confused3

I too have issues with BBB (from many years ago when they had a Yellowpages in our area and the first year they printed it and the 2nd year they didn't, after collecting payment. The BBB refused to refund the money, said it was an outside company, blah, blah, blah-but I felt like I needed to do something.)
 
Try SaveMore Daily to get to the savemore.com facebook page. Click on wall. You don't have to like it to see the wall or report them. I couldn't find the Water Bottle page on facebook either. Just by reading the posts savemore.com has a lot of ticked off customers.
 
I just ordered today BEFORE reading through all these posts....I'll never do that again. Used the Savemore website

I ordered the 4 bottle deal, my voucher will come tomorrow, but I did receive an email thanking me for my order. I have no confirmation number. I guess that comes after I get my voucher

I don't go to Disney until next September....maybe I will have the bottles for that trip....:rotfl2:

after getting an e-mail ship confirmation before getting up tight. I've seen shipping time take two weeks for other companies. I order a lot from internet. This product may be coming from a foreign country which would be like a slow boat to China kind of thing.

Back when everyone was bugging them about when they would ship, people were told that they would be shipping from within the US. So either that was a lie, or they should have gotten to SOMEONE by now.

People on other websites are reporting problems with not receiving other products they have purchased thru Savemore as well - nail polish, watches. People have also uncovered that waterbottle.bz is possibly actually owned by Savemore, or they are both owned by the same owners. The same with the website the people purchased the watches from. This is all just smelling worse and worse by the moment.

All of us have been reasonable enough already, waiting a month to receive them. This has now gone to completely unacceptable.

ETA: According to their facebook wall, WaterBottle.bz claims they were shipped USPS, which would mean they were shipped from the US. Again, if that's the case, SOMEONE should have gotten them by now. Even if they were sent media mail (which by the way would have been an improper use of media mail), SOMEONE near their shipping location should have received them by now. I still haven't seen a single person on any of the deal websites report that they have received the bottles.

For the Water Bottle one, you have to look for waterbottle.bz or look under their "likes" to the left.

Edited to add: They are deleting posts and blocking posters on both websites now. Nice.
 
Yikes. I don't undertand WHY save more would even allow the water bottles to be listed again if NOONE has received any yet.

Why not finish THAT order and then list more?
 
Here's their latest reply to the email I sent yesterday letting them know I hadn't received mine yet even though they promised me, in writing, that I would have them before Oct. 7th.


Hello,

Your order has been shipped via USPS standard mail and there is no tracking number. Orders were shipped standard mail and therefore applicable time is needed to be allowed in order to the have the postal service ship the order out to you. Please allow them more time

My response to them was basically I wished them good luck in staying in business with all the negative comments they are recieving and reminded them that they promised me, in writing, several times that I would get my order by 10-7. Well there's only a few more hours until my postal worked gets here, hopefully I will post that I got them (Yeah, right!):headache:

I just posted a bunch of comments on their wall. Hopefully it'll save others this headache.

And why would they offer it again if they hadn't fullfilled prior orders. The answer is simple $$$$. I don't think it's a coincidence that they said they shipped all of our orders on the same day they made the offer again. That way they could say all orders had been shipped. Which, by the way, I seriously doubt they all shipped on the 28th. I noticed there isn't a date on the confirmation email I got. :confused3

They will just delete the posts.

I filed a complaint with the FTC this morning, and in it I named both Waterbottle.bz and SaveMore. I sent both businesses a copy of the complaint, as well as the copy of the statute about FTC shipping regulations. I received my refund 10 minutes ago (is pending on my cc account). I'll just send the bottles back, COD.

All they had to do was let me know "hey, lots of orders--not enough stock--will ship ASAP" and I would have been satisifed. The whole runaround and "Should your require further assistance please feel free to contact us. Thank you and have a great day!" emails really irriatated me.

I was just looking at the savemore FB page... didnt see anything written about them, I guess they are taking down everythng. Ijsut simply asked if they have heard anythng about them, and that I havent gotten mine yet. Lets see if they get rid of it..lol Well, in the 2 min that I posted this.. it was taken down... lol
 
I just spoke to a person at SaveMore who told me that they had spoken with the waterbottles people this am and that the orders were shipped Friday Sept. 30th and Monday Oct 3. after being told to wait a few more days, I told her that I would give them until tomorrow and if I did not recieve mine by tomorow I would demand a full refund. I then called the Waterbottles people and was told that they had not had the bottles in stock when the orders were placed but they finally got them in last week and they printed the lables on Wed and started shipping thurs and shipped the last ones out on Monday.

Hmmm... I will wait until tomorow as I am right across the border in OK. But will never again order from savemore or waterbottles again! I did tell the Waterbottles guy that maybe if they had been honest about not even having them in stock when we ordered, people may have been a little more patient or not ordered at all. :sad2:

I agree! My mail should be here within the next few hours so I'm still hoping to get them. If not I will be reqesting a refund and disputing the charge on my CC.

I knew the FB posts would be deleted but it still felt good to write them. ;)

Oh, and I've been blocked from posting to their wall. Savemores, that is.

I would like to say I'm surprised that they didn't ship on the 28th like they told everyone they did but I'm not. I seriously hope both companies suffer for this but they probably won't.
 
Just an interesting fact... went to the USPS site and typed in their zip and my zip and guess what shipping takes 2 days :rolleyes1
Anybody smell a rat!?!?!? Even if they shipped as late as Monday they should have arrived yesterday...not...today....NOT today either.:eek:

I got a different story....when I emailed them with my order # and the exact time the order was placed, they replied that I had canceled my order and I would have a credit on my Savemore account. Neither is true, and I'm sure each side will just be directing to the other side to get resolution.
 
OMG! I just got off the phone with Savemore. Needless to say my order did not arrive today and I will not have it in time for my trip. :headache::headache::mad:

The woman at Savemore said all the same things others have heard but she REFUSED to refund my money since the order has already been shipped (so says WaterBottle) I explained to her that they said they shipped on 9/28, and then 9/30 or 10/3. "I'm sorry but if the item has already shipped we can't refund the money until the item is returned" I let her know that I am purusing other avenues as well as disputing the charge on my CC.
I'm sure that if the bottles are returned for a refund that I will have to pay the shipping-and it will be more than $4.:confused3

I mentioned that Savemore is deleting all negative posts on FB and she said they have handled all concerns on the FB posts and I said "really" you haven't addressed mine yet. She said she was right now. :confused3 I also told her I had been blocked for posting and she said that wasn't true.

I told her that I was assured, in writing, by Waterbottle that I would have my order by today, the 6th. She said she didn't believe that. I said are you calling me a liar? She said no. I said you are saying I'm lying about what WaterBottle told me in several emails. She said Savemore has read all the emails concerning this issue.

This company is a joke! I'm glad it was only $4. Sad thing is I really wanted those bottles. I will never use a company like Savemore again until I have fully researched it and gotten a personal rec. from someone I know.

Oh, she said the only posts they deleted were posts with cursing in them. Really? I didn't curse in any of my posts and none of the negative ones I read there (before they were removed) had cursing either.

So basically she called me a liar and a potty mouth!:laughing:

Interesting, since on their website, on the 28th at 1:28pm, they posted "GREAT NEWS! We are excited to inform you all that your water bottles have shipped!"

Nothing like a little misinformation to help your company out of a difficult situation - oh wait, it actually made it worse! :rolleyes1
