free city walk club entrance

I haven't had much luck determining whether there is any truth to a post I saw on another board. Essentially, it said you could use your Universal Studios entrance ticket to get into the city walk clubs at night during mardi gras. The poster was unsure if the AP pass would get you in for free too. Anyone know?

I don't know exactly, but I doubt it. That would mean AP holders get into the clubs for free 365 days a year.

Bring your Mardi Gras map and show them your AP at the clubs. If that doesnt work, inquire at CityWalk guest services.

IIRC, the signs at Universal and Citywalk said you could either bring your one day pass OR a mardi gras park map. My impression was that they wanted you to provide proof that you had actually been inside the Studios before giving you a free pass for Citywalk.
