Free child ticket w/ purchase- is it a 2 day ticket?

don't you just love phamton...............i know i do..... ::yes::

she is a super star !!

So....to clarify for me....you get 1 five day ticket and a second five day ticket free? The special says the free ticket is for a child but they actually send you a free adult ticket that can be used for an adult or child? Is that correct? TIA :goodvibes

Thats what everyone keeps saying. you would have 2 identical 5 day tickets. Cant beat it with a stick. :sunny:

Ok, thanks! I just not the brightest bulb in the pack so I just want to make sure I understand before I order. I am glad I stumbled upon this thread - but, I was actually stalking Macraven! :teeth:

i think she said something about taking her son back to school. In one of the threads if i remeber correctly.

Well, DH said go ahead and buy tickets so I did!! That means we are definately going!!!!! Yeah!! :cool1:

Guess I need to change my ticker--no POLY--we will be going to US/IOA for 1/3 of the price. Maybe we'll get to do Sea World or something else while in Orlando. Any other "hidden" gems we should know about??

just popping in on a borrowed computer now.

i called universal this afternoon and asked if i could switch and have my tickets fed ex to me instead of using the kiosk.

i bought them some days ago. they had the # and now they are on their way.

i don't remember which thread the question was asked on about how long this promo would be going on for the 2 park 2 day + 3 free days adult and 1 free kid ticket........so if it was not asked on this thread, i need to find it.

anywho......i asked the employee how long the promo would be valid.
he told me that his department are being told July 31, 2006.

he also added that universal can change the date at any time but this is the date he was told it would end.

for those that have not purchased their tickets yet, i hope what i was told today is true and it helps you out.

Thanks Mac!

I'm stil trying to track down one child's ticket. I may end up having to just buy an extra one.

Gotta' love the people on this board. I just saved big money on my tickets to Universal. We will do less days at Disney now but that is really not much of a hardship.

Thanks for taking the time to post such a great deal!

just to add i called the number for the universal store internet.

i did not talk to the universal vacation section.........sometimes when i talk to that section, the info has some errors. such as when i booked rph i was told it was a 2 minute walk from the hotel to univ studios. that couldn't have been correct as that hotel would be the hr.

if any of you want to call to verify yourself for the stop date of the promo that includes the free child's ticket, use the u.s. internet number.

I just got off the phone with Universal studios, and from my caculations, the 2 day 2 parks thre days free and childs ticket free, is by far the best deal!

a 1 day 2 park ticket costs adult $77.75 Child $67.10 a total of 144.85 (taxes includes) (can be purchased at gate not sure if it will cost more)

the 2 days 2 parks free 3 days and kids ticket is $99.00... you get 2 parks 5 days 1 adult ticket and 1 child ticket total would be $106.45 (taxes included)(can only be purchased online)

If you purchase your tickets online you can pick them up at the park at a ETB (electronic ticket booth) she told me that you swipe the credit card you used to purchase the tickets online and the tickets print out of the machine and there you go!

Seems so easy and cheap... am I being misslead? it is worth it isn't it?

I asked the person I spoke with If I was the one purchasing the tickets, and going there with my daughter for one day, could my husband on another day use the same tickets and take our daughter, she said yes absolutly

I called the "Other important numbers" the "Vacation Information: (800) 711-0080" was this the number you were talking about? I would hate to get wrong info on these tickets and not find out till i got there

She gave you "absolutely" wrong information. The tickets are non-transferable.

how can they do that? I mean they are there to give you the information, if it is incorrect then they are not helpful at all, Do you know the number to talk to someone who knows what they are talking about when it comes to tickets and pricing?

I received my 2 adult and 2 free tickets on Monday, they are all identical there is no way to tell adult from child. After reading this post for only a couple of days I decided I would go ahead, take a chance and buy them anyway ( as I need 4 ) and hope they all come in the same. If not I would have (2) extra child tickets and would just reorder (2) more adult tickets. There was no lose to me. Turns out everything is fine and the price is amazing. Have a great time everyone.

I received my tickets today and they were all adult tickets with no expiration date on them. Just that they expired 4 days after the first use. That's it!

Great deal!

Be careful - I believe these tickets expire on 12/31/06 (the terms and conditions on the Universal website say this).

i mentioned earlier that wrong information has been given out before thru the universal vacation section.

if you call the number for the internet on line store, they will tell you the correct information.
tickets are non transferable.

when you take your 5 day pass to the gate to enter the park, the employee will check your signature. you have to sign the back of the pass and usually, sign in on a sheet. if the sigs don't match, they can ask to see an id.

it is not worth the risk to share passes.

if you did and were denied entrance, you would have to buy the tickets for that day. that's extra money you wouldn't be planning on spending.

buying the tickets on line is cheaper than buying them at the gate.
