I was just looking at the Universal website and they list the offer that if you buy a 2 Day/2 Park ticket you get a child ticket free. Is that child ticket a 2 Day/2 Park ticket as well? I would assume it would be but I don't know. My DH and I will be taking our 2 boys this May and I definitely want to make sure our boys could get in both days with these tickets if we purchase this online. Thanks

Actually it is a 5 day pass for both the adult and child. You pay for 2 days and get 3 free days on each pass.

If there are two adults and three children, you then use one of those extra days on each pass for that third child?

That would be great for us.

Sorry that won't work. You'll have to buy an extra ticket for the other child.

Hi, I took advantage of the buy a 2day adult and get the child free with two extra days and I actually received all adult tickets good for 5 consecutive days with no expiration. I called to verify it. Think it was a fluke?

No, it wasn't a fluke. The 5 day passes are all the same for both kids and adults. They don't expire until after the first day of use.

The previous poster was asking about the hotel tickets. I'm not sure if those are the Bonus (5-day) tickets that is offered on the internet or another kind of ticket. I'd have to see them first. Maybe someone who has done the kids stay and play free from the hotel offer can answer this one.

Phantom,
Thanks for all your help. I've enjoyed reading all of these threads and you always have insight. I now know that the 2 day online tickets are actually all adult and/or child, they are good for 5 days and they don't expire until used. I sold those tickets b/c we now have the family free stay plan. I now have the tickets for length of stay with the hotel room and I imagine they will actually be 2 adults and 2 kids but i'll let you know when I get back. Thanks for the upgrade info.

Thanks. I would appreciate any info on the hotel packages. I don't know anything about the tickets they offer for that. Let me know when you get back.

So, if they send you all adult tickets, and my children will be 9 and 12, plus our 13 year old nephew we can actually buy 3 tickets for adults and get 2 or even 3 free, is that right?

Thanks in advance for your response!

If you buy 3 you should receive 6 of the same tickets. I don't want to steer you wrong though. According to my experience and others on the thread it is true. Even if you did get child tickets which I doubt you will you can upgrade them for about 10.00. I just ordered for our friends and the tickets should arrive tomorrow. I'll let you know what arrives.

Thanks a bunch! I'll wait to see what your friend gets. I'm probably going to order this month.

This is good to know! I was wondering how I was going to explain to our nieces that we would only be taking their younger brother with us this trip (although we took them many years until he was old enough). Now we can take them all!

I received my tickets today and they were all adult tickets with no expiration date on them. Just that they expired 4 days after the first use. That's it!

Great deal!

Has anyone used the Print@Home option to purchase these tix? I'm wondering if the home-printed tix have the 12/06 expiration date on them.

ETA: Nevermind. Question answered!

The print at home option isn't available for the 5 day, only for the one day tickets. You can pick them up at "will call" though for no charge.

I bought 3 adult tickets (for me, dh, ds12) and one free child ticket - Got them today - they're all adult. Any chance they'll refund me $100 for the one ticket since I could have bought 2 and gotten 2 free - had I known they'd be sending all adult tickets?

Not likely as the extra ticket has no value. Save it and use it for another trip.

No - I'm saying - I paid $335 for 4 tickets - I thought the free one was for ages 3-9 and my son is 12, so I didn't order 2 child tickets and two adults. I ordered 3 adult, 1 child (free). I only need 4 tickets and won't make it back to Florida this year.

UPDATE - I called just now and of course they won't give me any money back! I didn't really think that they would.

But, they are sending me the two additional free passes that I should have ordered to begin with - so I bought 3 adult and now I'll have 3 free child (really the same pass) tickets even though I won't need them. Maybe a family member can use them!
