Free/cheap Kindle apps?

DD5 is getting a Kindle Fire for Christmas. I'm looking for ideas of free or cheap apps to put on it for her. We already love the Dr. Panda apps, looking for other suggestions.

Did you buy the Kids Fire ? If so, it will come with an entire set up off all kinds of games and apps

Kindle also offers a free app every day. Now not all will be appropriate for this age group but it is worth a look daily to see if they might like it!
