Free books for kids this summer....

Barnes and Noble and Half Price Books have summer reading programs for kids. My 10 year old DD always does the Barnes and Noble one, but I just found out by email about the Half Price Books program. Here's the links:

Thanks for the info. Looks like we can only do the half price books one. The Barnes and Noble one says you have to be in 1-6 grade Does anyone know how strict they are about that? I have a child going into first grade and one going into kin. (Currently in pre-k and k) This is a great way to encourage reading!

If there is nothing on the B&N free book list your child likes remember you can donate them to the school library when school starts again

Thanks so much!! I'm trying to get a list of ideas together for the kids. I'll be home w/them this summer but will be taking online classes. This will give them something quiet to work on while I work too.

Good idea about donating them if they don't like the choices!

Thank you ! DD loves doing this each summer. In the past it was 2 books per summer. Sounds like its only 1 now it read A BOOK. Anyways we love it
