Please allow me to be the proud mom for a post, my kids entered our local fair this weekend and they won 18 ribbons and a trophy. My DD (8) made the decorated cake below:

Not only did she win first place she also won the best in bakery for the whole youth division, that is what the trophy is for. She beat out about 100 other baked items.

DD also won 1st place for:
Crazy Flip flop contest (I will post the pic of them), Hello Kitty collection, Toffee, Water color, collage, tomatoes, & black walnuts and 2nd place for fudg...e & fall flower arrangement. DS (11) won 1st place for Yu-gi-oh card collection, blueberry muffins, chocolate chip cookies, butternut squash and 2nd place for Starwars Lego, watercolor art, onions and 3rd place for his zuchini bread. We are so proud of them. They won a total 31 ribbons at the Fair in late August and 18 at the Fair this weekend.

I need to remove my name from the list for January 6th - 13th. We decided to take advantage of the 4/3 deal. It was a better deal for us than the 5/2 deal. I hope the kids will be ok with staying somewhere else. We all LOVE POP! DS5 said that we can take a day to visit POP.
