I still have 170 days. Still better then the 450+ we had when I started planning. Kids want days to go by quickly but that means moving closer to start of school year.

I have the same problem with getting closer to school. Right after we get back from Disney (like, literally, the next day) is Nic's move-in day for MSU.

I'm not finished with my AA, so I have to finish that before I can switch out there, and that won't be till next year.

It's very hard, because I want us to just be in Disney, but I know it'll be sad when we get back.

Summer is over when we head for Disney... Since we are going in Sept, that means school is back in session when we get back from Disney!! I can't wait for our Disney trip, but I don't want to wish away my whole summer!!!

WOW!!! Mine will be in day camp for 4 weeks each (golf, basketball, rocketry, and archery for DS and gymnastics for DD) or with grandparents. I work at home and can't get anything done with them here. Like check DIS.

Oh LUCKY you! I remember those days! LOL

My oldest goes to day camp, resident camp, friends and family, so she isnt home that much during the summer she has a very active social life, lol. But I also have a clingy 5 yr old, who isnt old enough or brave enough for some of the stuff he can do. Then I ALSO have the 2 yr old, and she isnt doing anything right now! The last 2 yrs I worked 60 hrs a week in the summer and the kids went to day care, I made NO money so this summer we are soooo staying home!

Have a GREAT summer~

Three kids home all day long for me... Although my 5 year old starts half day playground program on Monday! I can't wait.

The 3 year old and 1 year old take daily naps, so I have a little bit of peace and quite each day!!!

I know the feeling. I think my 3 year old LOVES to bug his big sister!!!

I tell me dd (11) that her little brother (5) is NOT doing his job he is not doing his job if he is not annoying her, lol.

Then I tell him that his baby (dd2) is not doing her job if she is not following him around trying to do everything he does! LOL

Gotta Love those kids!

Well, dancing soon turned to tears when one of our pet turtles went missing in our backyard. My DD7 and I were watching them in the grass while DS was cleaning the tank and I went to check on something leaving her to watch 3 turtles and when I came back 90 sec. later, one of the turtles was missing. We searched for 3 hours yesterday, again last night, 5am, 8am and all day today and it is no where to be found. I made flyers and distributed them in the neighborhood so hopefully someone will find it. BUT of course DS blames DD for losing it "ON PURPOSE!!".

Sorry about your turtle. We saw one Thursday night on the walking path in front of our YMCA.
