Hi,

those dates are available. I will hold them for you. You need to reach 10 posts before I can send you a Private Message with the info I need. Go to very bottom of the dis board in the "Just for fun" section and post until you reach 10.

Those dates are open. All the info about the swap is in post #24 of this thread but basically it is free to all users. You contact the swapper before you and after you to determine if you can do a face to face swap or if the fridge & stuff will go to Luggage services for pick up by you and the swapper after you. Please be sure to get swappers name, arrival date and cell phone. If you want to join, I will send you a PM with the info I need to confirm you on the list.

It looks as if we will be getting the fridge out of luggage services and leaving it there. So i was wondering, how much should we tip luggage services, and do we tip both when getting the fridge and when returning it? What is the usual way it's done?

I would tip $10 or so, both out and in (we want them to take good care of Nemo ;)). I tipped more but they bought it to my name and MY name is on the box to contact if there are any issue.

My family and I just booked a last minute trip from Feb. 17th to the 25th. Looks like some of those days are open. We would be so grateful to be able to use the fridge for those days if they are still available.

I'll send a PM but it looks like I need a few more posts first. Better get crackin!

As my dates come closer, I have some final questions about the swap:

1. Where is LS located at Pop? Is it inside the lobby?
2. Is there tape and cleaning wipes provided inside the box? Or should I plan to bring my own?
3. Should I be asking for the claim ticket left by the previous swapper when we're checking in?

I know these questions are silly but I just want to make sure all is understood before I go. Thanks!

1. Where is LS located at Pop? Is it inside the lobby? LS is to the right of the Main Entrance where magical express drops off, not the entrance by the gift shop.
2. Is there tape and cleaning wipes provided inside the box? Or should I plan to bring my own? There should be wipes and tape in the box.
3. Should I be asking for the claim ticket left by the previous swapper when we're checking in?If the previous swapper gets a claim ticket, they will leave it at the front desk for you. When you check in, they will tell you that you have an envelope and give it to you. That is how it was when i received it.

I know these questions are silly but I just want to make sure all is understood before I go. Thanks!

Only silly question, is one that is not asked. ;)

:lovestruc:lovestruc Have you bought your Valentine's gifts yet? :lovestruc:lovestruc

Nope! My hubby is in Haiti (humanitarian mission) so I'm waiting til after Valentine's to buy something on sale, LOL!! I think I'll buy me a box of chocolates, too! :rotfl:

I will keep your husband (and his fellow military) in my prayers to keep him safe. The pics of Haiti looks devastating.

Good idea, on sale stuff and buying a box for yourself. :thumbsup2 I had to buy my kids stuff early since I leave on Friday for San Francisco for work and won't be back until the following Saturday. It is killing the kids that their stuff is wrapped in the dining room and they can't open it. :rotfl2:

I heard from bsjs0708 and she said Nemo and everything worked great and she left in LS for auntread who arrives on Sunday with new box. :thumbsup2
