Free Apple Scooter Stroller Rental

Happy to report we had a great experience.

Our rental was at bell services and we left it with them for pick up. Our stroller was all black and cleaned with dreft as the tag stated. We made sure to tie an odd color bandanna so we could spot it. We were charge in advance, about a month early, for our rental.

Thank you for sharing your experience...glad to hear it all went well! The colored bandana is a great tip...I will definitely be using that!

Sorry double post.

I just posted this on another thread, but I second Apple. We have a 5 and 2 yr old. Plan was to rent one and take our umbrella stroller. Our stroller never made it on the plane. I called Apple to rent a second one, they had already delivered our first stroller, but they had the second to our resort in an hour. I was also hesitant about my 5 yr old using it, but it was a lifesaver. My 2 yr old hates strollers, but loved this one. It's great cause Disney has designated stroller parking, so you can park it there, ride a few rides, then go back and get it. It's not like your kids have to be and out, in and out.

Thanks for the info. We are leaving for our trip on June 12th and would like to rent a stroller so we won't have to worry about packing ours in the car since it will be jam packed. We we're going to rent one but decided last minute to rent one instead. Meaning no way for a meltdown to happen.

We are doing a split stay at Disney World this year. We want to keep the stroller the last park day we're there but we will be in a different resort than we checked into. Would there be a problem with Apple Stroller to picking up at a different resort?

I have them booked for our September trip. I've emailed them twice asking if a rain cover could be added to our order and have not heard back from them yet. Anyone have a positive experience trying to get a hold of them?

I would just call. They were always helpful when I did call. I checked my confirmation a couple times. One time I called and was put on hold immediately. I had to hang up, I'm sure it was something my kids were doing, and they called me back a few minutes later. I assume they have caller ID. The first time I called about my confirmation I asked for a parent console but they were sold out for that week. The day before I asked again and it was added at no charge. When I had to order a second stroller for same day delivery they said it would be there by evening. They called me back 10 minutes later to inform me it would be there in an hour. Always great communication.

I e-mailed them to add a rain cover and parent console and heard back from them within a day or so.

I have never done this but I wouldn't see it being a problem. I think when you reserve online it asks you where and what time to drop off and where and what time to pick up, which would allow you to put a different resort. I am sure you could always call and set something up with them.

Thank you! I'm going to book it today!

Just booked it for four days which is what we needed it for! We're not going to take it to HS because we figured our daughter can walk that park. But we really wanted it for the day we go to Animal Kingdom and Epcot!

Also we are staying at Coronado Springs and wanted to know do we ask to deliver to the Bell Services or the Concierge? I chose concierge. Anyone have anything good to say about it being delivered there? We are planning on getting a console from home and bringing with us.

I took advantage of that offer. Total, for 8 days it was around 55 dollars. I guess the deal is for 7 full days or something, and when my travel times changed, I had to request another full day, rather than an early morning pick up for them. So, I paid in full for that day. Then, I rented the parent console for 5 dollars. It was more expensive than advertised, but still cheaper than renting each day and much easier than lugging my double through the airport. I didn't shop around, so despite my buyers remorse, I'm excited to try it out.

Sorry if this is a silly question...do you have to meet them to return your stroller or do you just leave it with bell services?

Sorry I didn't see this sooner. You can just leave it will bell service! We left it a bit earlier than we told them, so I called and gave them a heads up that it was at the hotel if they wanted to get it. They appreciated that. Never had any problems with Apple stroller rental. I am going to use them again in Sept. :goodvibes

We rented from Apple. The stroller was waiting at luggage services when we arrived. I paid the extra $10 plus tax to get the parent console and rain cover. We didn't use the rain cover. The cover took up valuable under stroller storage space and slowed down the bag check at the park. The cover bag is attached to the bottom of the stroller and one of the bag check guys kind of took issue with the bag (I think he thought we were trying to hide it - you can't detach the bag from the stroller). I contacted Apple twice on the phone (1st time to extend our rental and 2nd time to order the rain cover and parent console). Apple was very nice and made the changes to my reservation.

I really liked the city mini double. I loved how easy it was to fold up (much easier than my Bob Dualie). The storage room is less than the bob. I liked the parent console and the stroller handle of the city mini. It worked out really well with our diaper bag. Since Apple is relatively new to the stroller biz, I expected a newer looking stroller. It had a couple of stains, but after wiping it down with a hand sanitizer wipe, I was ready to load up my 13 month old twins. Overall, if the price is reasonable, I would rent from Apple again.

I agree about the newer part. We had two doubles and both were hard to close. Also they don't do a real good job at putting the straps back together properly. We couldn't use ours. Would have been nice for our two yr old who kept wanting to jump out.

I did a seperate thread about more of our experience.

We just returned and had a great experience with Apple!

The stroller was waiting for us when we arrived. I'd purchased my own rain cover to bring because we needed one for home anyway. I didn't get the parent console, nor have any need for it.

The stroller was very clean and comfortable. I love how easy it was to maneuver and fold up. Lots of storage underneath.

We changed out the name tag (which had room info and full name) to just have our last name on it (if you do this, keep the original tag so they can find your stroller when you drop it off at Bell Services again... just to be sure!) and we brought a bandana to tie around the handle. No problems with people taking our stroller or anything like that.

Recommended and I would gladly use them again!

Took advantage of the "free" promotion and had a 4-day rental. I emailed to add the parent console and rain cover which were $5 each for the duration of the rental. Total price was right at $40 for insurance and the add-ons. Much cheaper than anyone else. Stroller was waiting at the luggage check of the POR when we arrived. Stroller was clean, but did show some minor use, but nothing I didn't expect from a rental stroller. We had no concerns putting our kids in it. We rented the double stroller and all 3 of our kids (even our 9 year old) were in and out of it throughout our trip. It was just very convenient for them to be able to sit and rest a bit so we didn't have to hear whining and complaining later in the day. So yes we had a double stroller for our 4, 6 and 9 year olds and we'd do it again in a heartbeat! The City Mini Double was very easy to operate and push through the parks, was not an issue for our wife and I at all. We tied a bandana to the handle and that made it easy to find in the "stroller parks." We were also able to schedule an 8pm pick up for our last day where the other rental companies wanted to charge for an additional day, so that was a bonus. Overall happy with Apple Stroller.

Side note: be sure to thank the Disney CMs who manage the stroller parking areas. They're keeping the park better organized but also providing a small bit of security for your stroller. I always said "thank you" as I retrieved our stroller, and one CM, a little older lady said "Wow, no one ever says thank you, I really appreciate that." So a little pixie dust for the CMs is a good thing!

We are driving down and I was going to bring our double stroller with us - it is a front to back not a side to side - I had been thinking that I would like a side to side instead of the front to back so that one kid doesn't have to sit in back of the other - the apple stroller deal sounds like a great deal - but I wonder if it is worth spending the extra money to rent when I already have one? Also - can anyone tell me how big the basket is underneath? on my front to back stroller we can fit SOOOOO much stuff in the basket! and it has cup holders and canopy's and a little compartment for my keys, etc.

Has anyone tried picking up and dropping off at their office location?

I am interested in renting a single from them, but they do not deliver to vacation homes ( I rented one at rolling hills). But on the website there is an option to pickup and drop off at their office. I was wondering if anyone has tried that. I google mapped it, and it seems to be on the way from MCO to rolling hills area.
