I heard that if you had an account with Road Runner ISP, you were eligible for free AOL access.

Does anyone know if this is true?

I can tell you that I have Roadrunner, which does offer AOL AIM service for free. And though I didn't read the email, I got an email from Roadrunner titled something about free AOL email. I don't know about the actual AOL browser.

According to the ad I keep seeing on TV tonight, AOL is now bundled with RR. I've been all over my RR and I don't see any announcement of it.

I Have Roadrunner And Aol And What They Did Was Combine They Charges So I Get One Bill Instead Of Paying 2 . My Aol Is $14.99 And My Roadrunner Is $29.99 A Month So Not Free Just Alittle Cheaper ....

Curious is your Road runner $29.99 for a limited time then it's more? mine was $29.99 for like 6 months and then it went up to the normal amount of like $50 or so

We have Roadrunner for $40 a month (paid to Time Warner) and I pay $14.99 for unlimited AOL (to AOL via my debit card). Actually I think our price went down a bit for Roadrunner because we got the digital phone, DVR digital cable plus modem package.

Originally I only paid $9 for AOL with the bring your own access plan, but it has gone up. If you don't mind changing your email address to roadrunner, you can do away with AOL and get the free AIM.

Hope this helps.

We've had Roadrunner for years, and we pay $45 a month(which is less than the $50 a month we used to pay). As for AOL, I keep seeing the ads on TV saying it is free with Roadrunner, but I don't see it anywhere on the Roadrunner site. My daughters have been using the free AOL IM for years(as do most of their friends), but I think that it is just for the purpose of messaging, you do not have access to member pages. Roadrunner uses Outlook Express for e-mail, and I have trouble navigating it(I am very technically challenged), so I use Yahoo mail for free. I am hoping that AOL is free for Roadrunner customers, especially if we can set up an AOL e-mail account.

it is $29.99 for the first year then it goes up to $39.99 for the next year then we were told to call back and ask what the new specials are. And not to be afraid to tell them you'll take your buisness elsewhere to get the best deal
